AFTERTHOUGHT (NBC, New!) - Evan Daugherty ("Snow White and the Huntsman") and Melissa Rosenberg ("The Twilight Saga") are set to team for a potential drama at the Peacock about "an unconventional team within the FBI that uses the six-hour window between clinical death and cellular death to solve murders by entering the memories of the recently deceased." Daugherty will pen the hour and serve as a co-executive producer for Universal Television with Rosenberg executive producing via her Tall Girls Productions banner. (Variety.com)


AWESOME SPLENDOR (NBC, New!) - Lawrence Trilling ("Parenthood") has sold a potential drama to the Peacock "set in the world of rock 'n' roll." No other details were given about the project, which Trilling will write and executive produce alongside "The Voice's" Adam Levine and his manager Jordan Feldstein for Universal Television. HOT FOR YOU (TBS, New!) - Rick Marin and Ilene Rosenzweig ("Lipstick Jungle") are developing a new multi-camera comedy at the cable channel about "three best friends - who have opened an upstart, rebel foodie restaurant - that are caught in their own love triangle." Rob Long is on board to co-write and executive produce the half-hour with Marin and Rosenzweig serving as co-executive producers. (THR.com)


NO. ONE SON (ABC, New!) - Cindy Caponera ("Shameless") has landed a new single-camera comedy at the Alphabet about "two completely culturally different families, one Chinese and the other Irish/Italian, that have to learn to co-exist because they are now related through the new marriage of their oldest children." ABC Studios and DreamWorks Television are behind the half-hour, which Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank will executive produce alongside Caponera and Lisa Ling. (Deadline.com)


UNREAL ESTATE (HBO, New!) - The pay channel is developing a new drama based on Michael Gross's upcoming tome of the same name, subtitled "Money, Ambition and the Lust for Land in Los Angeles." Silver Pictures' Joel Silver is in talks to executive produce the project, which will explore "the history of sixteen estates in Los Angeles' most exclusive enclaves - Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, and Beverly Park - as well as juicy details from the lives of their famous owners." The search is underway for a writer. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED DAN FOGELMAN PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Screenwriter Dan Fogelman ("Crazy, Stupid, Love") has snagged a pilot production commitment from the Alphabet for a new comedy about "a normal family who moves into a condominium complex to find out that everyone living there but them are aliens." Chris Koch ("Modern Family") is on board to direct the single-camera project, which is set up at ABC Studios following a stint at Warner Bros. Television. Fogelman, Koch and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment then will executive produce. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED DAVID SELTZER PROJECT (NBC, New!) - David Seltzer ("Cinema Verite") and HBO Sports mainstay Jim Lampley are developing a new drama at the pay channel about "a family dealing with co-dependence and addiction." Seltzer will pen the hour and executive produce alongside Lampley and his manager Michael Price's Atticus banner. (Deadline.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Ryan Johnson has joined the cast of USA's "Fairly Legal" as Ben Grogan, "a sharp, up-and-coming trial attorney with a knack for making money" (Deadline.com); "The Buried Life" alums Duncan Penn, Jonnie Penn, Ben Nemtin and Dave Lingwood have inked a development deal with MTV following the cancellation of their series earlier in the week (EW.com); plus Brody Hutzler ("Days of Our Lives") will stop by "Ringer's" 11th episode as the wine connoisseur husband of fellow guest star Madchen Amick (TVLine.com).
