Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

EVEREST (FOX, New!) - Jeffrey Lieber ("Necessary Roughness") has sold a potential 10-part event series to the network about "a group of hikers on an expedition to conquer Mount Everest. Secrets are revealed and the truth about their motives are uncovered as the group struggles to survive on the world's highest peak." The FX Productions-based project has a multi-script commitment with Sharon Hall, Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove of the Warner Bros. Television-based Alcon Television and Madhouse Entertainment's Robyn Meisinger and Adam Kolbrenner executive producing alongside Lieber. (Deadline.com)

MOST LIKELY (TBS/Warner Horizon; W: Josh Heald; D: TBA) - Abby Elliott and Dan Fogler are the first to be cast in the comedy pilot, about Connor Logan, a former "most likely to succeed" star student who returns to his hometown after losing his job and winds up working for the former (and still) "most popular" jock. She'll play Connor's witty pal Annie, "who has gone from working in graphic design to being relegated to a greeter position at Wal-Mart"; while Fogler is set as another one of Connor's friends, Russ, "a childlike night janitor at the brewery who was laid off when it closed and who now cleans out people's garages." (TVLine.com)

MR. DIRECTOR (HBO, New!) - Salim Akil ("The Game") has set up a potential "Curb Your Enthusiasm"-esque comedy at the pay channel which will explore "the life and times of Salim in the business and highlights the outrageous, circuitous path taken to become one of Hollywood's Top 50 showrunner/directors." Akil will write and direct the project, as well as executive produce and play a version of himself. (Deadline.com)

OUTCAST (Cinemax, New!) - A small screen take on Robert Kirkman's ("The Walking Dead") upcoming comic book has found a home at the pay channel. Said effort revolves around Kyle Barnes, "who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a spiritual journey to find answers, but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it." Kirkman will pen the script - which has a penalty attached - and executive produce alongside Circle of Confusion's David Alpert for Fox International Channels. (THR.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Comedy Central has passed on a third season of "The Jeselnik Offensive" featuring comedian Anthony Jeselnik (Deadline.com); Angela Lansbury says "it's a mistake" for NBC to call its Octavia Spencer-led revial "Murder, She Wrote" (AP.org); Elisabeth Rohm has booked a four-episode arc on "Beauty and the Beast" as "an FBI agent who is dedicated to cleaning up the Bureau" (EW.com); David Cross will guest on "Community" in an episode billed as a follow up to the 2011 installment "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" (Vulture.com);

Judge Mablean Ephriam will topline "Justice With Judge Mablean," a new court show from Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios due next fall (THR.com); ; Chris Isaak will visit "Hot in Cleveland" as "a famous musician who meets Valerie Bertinelli's Melanie after she uses an illness to try to get tickets to his sold-out concert" (TVLine.com); Andrew Leeds is set to return to "Bones" as Christopher Pelant in a yet-to-be-revealed capacity (TVLine.com); and Stephen Moyer will helm an upcoming installment of "True Blood's" upcoming final season (TVLine.com).
