BETTER LATE THAN NEVER (NBC, New!) - The Peacock has given a cast-contingent series order to a new travel show based on CJ Entertainment & Media's hit South Korean series "Grandpas Over Flowers." Said effort will track "four veteran actors go backpacking across Asian countries with a young guy who does chores for them along the way." Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are executive producing alongside Small World IFT. (Deadline.com)


DANGEROUS BOOK FOR BOYS, THE (NBC, New!) - Conn and Hal Iggulden's famed guidebook is being developed as a single-camera comedy - about "an irreverent family comedy about three teenage boys who are given a dad's guide to living lives full of adventure after he passes away" - at the Peacock. Writer/director Greg Mottola (Superbad) is spearheading said effort, which has a penalty attached, with Moon Shot Entertainment's Bryan Cranston and James Degus also executive producing for Sony Pictures Television. DECALOGUE (NBC, New!) - Todd Ellis Kessler ("Pan Am") is spearheading a domestic take on the Danish mini-series of the same name, which "examines the Ten Commandments in a modern setting, with each short exploring one or several moral and ethical issues." Steve McPherson is also on board to executive produce the project. Currently no studio is attached. (Deadline.com)


KIDS IN AMERICA (NBC, New!) - "The Voice" mainstay Adam Levine is developing a single-camera comedy at the Peacock "inspired by his real-life experiences and centers on an unconventional family as seen through the eyes of a teenager with the dream of becoming a rock star." Aaron Blitzstein ("Family Guy") is attached to pen the half-hour for Universal Television with Levine, Jordan Feldstein and Josh Gummersall executive producing via their 222 Productions banner. MEMBERS ONLY (ABC/ABC Studios/CTS; W: David O. Russell & Susannah Grant; D: R.J. Cutler) - John Stamos is the latest addition to the drama series, an "Upstairs, Downstairs"-esque soap set at a private country club. He'll play Randy, "Mickey's (Natalie Zea) fast-talking hedge-fund billionaire husband whose marriage to Mickey has bought him what his money never could: membership." Betsy Brandt, Boris Kodjoe, Callie Hernandez, Chris Conroy, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Luke Mitchell, Michael Landes and Rebecca Forsythe also star. (Deadline.com)


ONE THAT GOT AWAY, THE (NBC, New!) - Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger ("Cougar Town") have scored a put pilot commitment from the Peacock for a new multi-camera comedy which "tells the story of a woman who, 15 years after high school, moves to Miami and rejoins her old group of friends to try to spark a romance with her high school crush." 20th Century Fox Television-based Small Dog Picture Co. is behind the half-hour with the company's Jason Winer and Renate Radford also serving as executive producers. POSSESSION OF MAGGIE GILL, THE (NBC, New!) - John Glenn (Eagle Eye) is developing a new drama at the Peacock about "a loving a middle-class family in Eugene, Ore., who find themselves in the midst of crisis when paranormal occurrences begin to affect the everyday fabric of their home. At the same time, a series of brutal murders is being investigated by two local detectives. The storylines converge as those involved slowly realize that the murders and hauntings may have a common link: Maggie Gill, 15-year-old daughter of the Gill family, who might be possessed by demonic attachments." Matt Luber, Adam Kane, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and Harris Fishman will also executive produce for Amblin Television . (THR.com)


UNTITLED JERMAINE FOWLER PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Jermaine Fowler (truTV's "Friends of the People") has booked a semi-autobiographical comedy at the Alphabet which "would star Fowler as a college dropout who winds up living with his estranged grandmother, a former DC cop who provides the perfect mix of parenting, laughs and adventure that gets him off the couch and out into the world." ABC Studios is behind the project with 3 Arts Entertainment's Avi Gilbert and Michael Rotenberg likewise executive producing. (THR.com)


UNTITLED JUDAH MILLER PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Judah Miller ("Playing House") is the latest to land a put pilot commitment at the Alphabet, this time for a single-camera comedy about "a Tony Award-winning mother and a cerebral, risk-averse father blessed with a natural-born athlete for a son. They are forced to come to terms with the fact that raising their only child won't come as easily as they thought." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the project with 3 Arts Entertainment's Tom Lassally and Jonathan Berry likewise executive producing.
