Dinner & a Movie and Kraft Kick Off the Summer with Customized Marketing Promotion

Sponsorship Featured on Five Select Nights July 2-Aug. 13

TBS, televisions very funny network, is partnering with Kraft Foods for a unique, customized sponsorship within the long-running hosted movie showcase DINNER & A MOVIE. Starting Saturday, July 2 and running for five select nights until Saturday, Aug. 13, DINNER & A MOVIE Summer Vacation presented by Kraft Foods will expose viewers to a collection of Kraft food products through customized vignettes and on-air graphics. For the first time ever on DINNER & A MOVIE, these exclusive Kraft episodes will receive maximum promotion across custom designed summertime on-air vignettes and graphics, spotlighting a specific product in each episode and further expanding consumer exposure during sponsored tune-in graphics one week out.

This sponsorship is like nothing else ever created for DINNER & A MOVIE. Branded, customized vignettes running as part of the shows content will feature humorous interaction between one of the shows hosts and that nights featured Kraft product. On Friday, July 29, during a break from the movie The Wedding Planner, DINNER & A MOVIE host Paul Gilmartin, will share with the viewers his day at the beach with his girlfriend, Crystal. This specific customized segment showcases the summertime beverage, Crystal Light. All five Kraft-sponsored vignettes will take place in a similar summer setting, and each product will also receive on-air exposure throughout the duration of the episode.

A unique component introduced in this promotion is a customized tune-in graphic incorporated into the previous weeks DINNER & A MOVIE episode. At the close of the movie airing one week out, a custom-designed DINNER & A MOVIE and Kraft co-branded graphic will promote Krafts product the following week, alongside the featured film. This is the first time a partner has received exposure for a brand outside of the sponsored episode.

Airdates for the five customized DINNER & A MOVIE and Kraft branded episodes are as follows:

July 2: Addams Family Values, starring Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia, featuring Ritz Chips

July 15: Tommy Boy, starring Chris Farley and David Spade, featuring Oscar Mayer hot dogs

July 29: The Wedding Planner, starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey, featuring Crystal Light

Aug. 6: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, starring Angelina Jolie, featuring A.1. Steak Sauce

Aug. 13: The Whole Nine Yards, starring Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry, featuring Jell-O Sundae Toppers

Now in its 11th season, DINNER & A MOVIE continues to provide new and exciting sponsorship opportunities to our clients, said Linda Yaccarino, executive vice president, Turner Entertainment Ad Sales and Marketing. We are very pleased to have a returning sponsor like Kraft as our partner for such a customized outreach campaign.

Since 1995, DINNER & A MOVIE has delighted movie and cooking fans with its unique combination of top-notch Hollywood entertainment and mouth-watering recipes. During each weeks movie, host Paul Gilmartin and chef Claud Mann give step-by-step recipes for dishes while watching along and providing biting commentary on the movies.

Kraft Foods (kraft.com) markets many of the world's leading food brands, including Kraft cheese, Maxwell House and Jacobs coffees, Philadelphia cream cheese, Oscar Mayer meats, Boca products, Balance bars and Post cereals in more than 150 countries.
