CBS Receives 59 Primetime Emmy Award Nominations, More Than Any Other Broadcast Network for First Time Since 1994

CBS RECEIVES 59 PRIMETIME EMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS, MORE THAN ANY OTHER BROADCAST NETWORK FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1994

"Everybody Loves Raymond" Leads the Pack with 13 Nominations; "Two and a Half Men" and "Elvis" Receive Six Nominations Each; "Survivor," "The Amazing Race" and "Late Show with David Letterman" Each Receive Five Nominations

CBS received 59 nominations for the 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, to be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. This was the largest number of nominations for any of the broadcast networks.

"Everybody Loves Raymond" received the most nominations on the Network with a total of 13, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Ray Romano), Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Patricia Heaton), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Peter Boyle and Brad Garrett) and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Doris Roberts). "Two and a Half Men" received six nominations including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Holland Taylor and Conchata Ferrell), as did the mini-series "Elvis," with nominations including Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie (Randy Quaid) and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie (Camryn Manheim). "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" each received five nominations including Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, as did "Late Show with David Letterman," which was nominated for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series.
