The WB had strong showings from its key series, including a victory in men 18-34 in its time period for SMALLVILLE, which continues to set time period records, while leading a revitalized Thursday lineup, a #13 overall finish for the sweep in women 12-34 for GILMORE GIRLS, a #1 time period finish in women 12-34 for 7TH HEAVEN and outstanding male growth for its time period by SUPERNATURAL.

The WB maintained all, or nearly all, of its November 2004 ratings across the 18-34 and 18-49 demos, plus women 12-34, men 12-34 and total viewers.

Here is a look at The WB's individual show highlights

This November, SMALLVILLE continues to excel in its new Thursday timeslot, setting network time period records, bringing incredible growth to the time period and ranking strongly in one of the toughest hours on television. SMALLVILLE ranked #1 in the time period for the sweep in 18-34 (3.3/11), men 12-34 (3.2/11) and male teens (3.0/10) against competition that includes Survivor on CBS, The O.C. on FOX, Joey and Will & Grace on NBC, Alias on ABC and Everybody Hates Chris on UPN. The super drama ranked #2 in the hour among men 18-49 (2.8/8) and finished #3 among persons 12-34 (2.7/8).

SMALLVILLE has improved the time period significantly for The WB, including gains of +111% in total viewers (5.6 million), +125% in persons 12-34, +145% in adults 18-34 (2.7/8) and +118% in adults 18-49 (2.4/6). The show also added nearly half a million total viewers over last November's Wednesday delivery. SMALLVILLE ranked as The WB's top rated program across all male demos in November, and was the network's second highest rated program across the adult demos, finishing just behind Gilmore Girls.

In its new time period at Monday at 9:00 p.m., RELATED has begun to show momentum, increasing its total viewers each week it aired to average 2.7 million viewers and posting solid female numbers this November in women 12-34 (2.2/6), women 18-34 (2.2/5) and female teens (2.4/7). In its most recent airing on Monday, November 21st, RELATED set new series highs in persons 12-34 (1.6/4), women 12-34 (2.5/7), female teens (2.9/9) and total viewers (2.9 million), and equaled series bests in adults 18-34 (1.5/4) and women 18-34 (2.4/6).

GILMORE GIRLS was the 13th-highest-rated program among all network shows this November in women 12-34 (4.4/12). The star performer for the network this November, ranked #1 in its time period for the sweep in women 12-34 (4.4/12), female teens (5.1/15) and teens (3.2/10) and finished a very strong #2 in the hour in women 18-34 (4.2/11) and adults 18-34 (2.9/9). GILMORE GIRLS ranked #3 in the time slot among women 18-49 (3.9/9). The most recent episode of the critically acclaimed series on Tuesday, November 22nd posted a season high delivery among total viewers (6.3 million) and equaled its season highs among adults 18-49 (2.8/7) teens (3.2/10) and men 18-34 (1.7/6). GILMORE GIRLS was The WB's top-rated show across all adult and female demos during the November sweep.

SUPERNATURAL has brought strong male growth to the 9:00 p.m. Tuesday time period during the November sweep, building by +20% in men 12-34 (1.8/5), +13% in men 18-34 (1.7/5), +33% in men 18-49 (1.6/4) and +40% in male teens (2.1/6). The thriller has also improved the time period versus last November in total viewers, averaging 4.7 million per episode. SUPERNATURAL ranks as The WB's second-highest rated program across all male demos, second only to Smallville.

EVERWOOD at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday has also improved the time period sharply over November 2004. The family drama was up by +62% versus year ago time period in total viewers (3.8 million), up +30% in adults 18-49 (1.3/3), up +42% in women 18-49 (1.7/4), up +36% in teens (1.9/6), up +22% in female teens (2.2/7), up +8% in persons 12-34 (1.4/4) and up +11% in men 12-34 (1.0/3).

7TH HEAVEN ranked #1 in the Monday 8:00 p.m. hour this November in women 12-34 (3.5/10), female teens (4.2/13) and teens 12-17 (2.6/8), and placed #2 in women 18-34 (3.3/9). The program was also tied for #3 in the time period among persons 12-34 (2.3/7) and women 18-49 (3.2/8).

7TH HEAVEN ranked as The WB's second highest rated program in the November sweep across all female demos, finishing second to Gilmore Girls.

At 8:00 p.m. on Friday, WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU finished the sweep tied for #3 in women 12-34 (1.6/6) and women 18-34 (1.6/6). The leadoff comedy improved over November �04 in both women 18-34 (up +7%) and women 18-49 (1.5/5, up +7%), and was steady versus year ago in women 12-34, adults 18-34 (1.2/5) and adults 18-49 (1.1/4).

REBA at 9:00 p.m. on Friday also posted solid ranks in the young female demos in the November sweep, ranking #3 in the time period in women 18-34 (1.8/6) and women 12-34 (1.6/6). REBA remained The WB's top rated comedy this November among all key adult and female demos.

This November, CHARMED built over last November in adults 18-49 (1.8/4, up +6%), men 18-49 (1.3/3, up +8%) and total viewers (4.2 million, up +5%), while holding steady year-to-year in women 18-49 (2.3/5) and men 12-34 (1.1/3). CHARMED out-delivered NBC's West Wing in the hour among women 12-34 (2.4/6) and women 18-34 (2.1/5).

At 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, the encore showing of SUPERNATURAL posted growth over last November's time period performance, building +29% in persons 12-34, +50% in adults 18-34 and +29% in adults 18-49, as well as +33% in total viewers.
