It was revealed tonight that finalist Brooke White was eliminated from the AMERICAN IDOL competition after she received the fewest of America's over 45 million votes. On Tuesday's performance show, the finalists sang Neil Diamond songs, and White, 24, from Mesa, AZ, sang "I'm a Believer" and "I AmI Said."

Also on tonight's show, Neil Diamond performed his new hit, "Pretty Amazing Grace."

On Tuesday, May 6 (8:00-9:02 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) the final four (David Archuleta, David Cook, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado) will return to the Idol stage to perform music from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Tune in the following night to see live performances by Maroon 5 and Bo Bice. Find out who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who must go home on the results show Wednesday, May 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

Maroon 5 captured the Best New Artist Grammy in 2005 and then went on to sell more than 10 million albums worldwide. The band won plaudits with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album "Songs About Jane." The first single, "This Love," earned Maroon 5 a Best New Artist Award at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards; went No. 1 on Top 40, VH1 and MTV simultaneously; and became the first song certified platinum as a download. The other track, "She Will Be Loved," scored a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Maroon 5 has toured alongside scores of artists and performed on numerous TV shows including "Saturday Night Live," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "The Today Show."

AMERICAN IDOL Season Four runner-up Bo Bice has known that music was what he was going to do since the day he was born or at least from the age of four, when he plunked down a dollar at a garage sale for records by Jim Croce, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers Band. Bice's first album, "The Real Thing," was just a taste of the broad spectrum of music that is the Alabama-born singer's passion. Bice's sophomore release, "See The Light," is a classic American album that mixes Southern-fried rock, funky grooves, swampy soul and stark emotional ballads.

AMERICAN IDOL is created and executive-produced by Simon Fuller, founder and CEO of 19 Entertainment, and executive-produced by Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO, FremantleMedia North America, Inc.; Nigel Lythgoe, President, 19 Television; and Ken Warwick, Executive Producer, FremantleMedia North America, Inc.
