KARLA GARCIA AND VITOLIO JEUNE ARE ELIMINATED ON "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

TOP 6 COUPLES COMPETE ON NEXT PERFORMANCE SHOW WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, ON FOX

R&B Singer Kelly Rowland and House DJ David Guetta to Perform on Next Results Show Thursday, July 9

Finalists Karla Garcia and Vitolio Jeune were eliminated tonight on the summer hit SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Garcia, 24, is a Jazz/Contemporary dancer from Brooklyn, NY, and Jeune, 26, is a Contemporary dancer from Miami, FL. This week featured special performances by pop sensation Kelly Clarkson and professional dancers Desmond Richardson and Patricia Hachey.

The three couples who received the fewest votes after Wednesday's performance show were: Karla Garcia and Vitolio Jeune; Kayla Radomski and Kupono Aweau; and Jeanine Mason and Philip Chbeeb. After each of these six dancers performed solo routines, the judges eliminated Garcia and Jeune.

Next week, the competition continues on television's most original dance show when the remaining six couples (Randi Evans and Evan Kasprzak; Caitlin Kinney and Jason Glover; Janette Manrara and Brandon Bryant; Jeanine Mason and Phillip Chbeeb; Kayla Radomski and Kupono Aweau; Melissa Sandvig and Ade Obayomi) compete once again on a two-hour performance show Wednesday, July 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The following night, Kelly Rowland and David Guetta will perform their new dance anthem, "When Love Takes Over," and the judges will send two more dancers home on the live results show Thursday, July 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and comes from 19 Entertainment, Ltd. and Dick Clark Productions. It is executive-produced by Simon Fuller, Nigel Lythgoe and Barry Adelman.
