NBC.com Rolls Out Its Own April-May Sweeps Lineup of Original Content as Companion to NBC's Eventful Sweeps Schedule
Said lineup includes offerings from all four of NBC's Thursday comedies.

NBC.COM ROLLS OUT ITS OWN APRIL-MAY SWEEPS LINEUP OF ORIGINAL CONTENT AS COMPANION TO NBC'S EVENTFUL SWEEPS SCHEDULE

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 27, 2010 - As NBC unveils its eventful April-May sweeps programming, NBC.com - the #1 broadcast website per comScore -- also will roll out its own ongoing original content connected to the network's series, talent and characters on the same night of the broadcast episode.

On the first day of sweeps, Thursday, April 29, NBC.com's lineup continues the characters Abed & Starburns in original "Community" webisodes, titled "The Spanish Assignment." In addition, "Parks and Recreation" reveals its "Turnbill Mansion Portrait Scramble," and for "The Office," visitors can read an exclusive Q&A with Sabre's "Print in All Colors" newest management trainee. In addition, there will be a new "Dear Tracy" for the Emmy Award-winning "30 Rock" as well as an exclusive interview with guest star Will Forte and updates to the "Jenna's Side" site.

Likewise, on Thursday, May 6, "Community" will be complemented with live tweets during a "paintball war" from the show's characters and a show-themed paintball game will be launched.

On the same night, "Parks and Recreation" fans can download the latest "Mouse Rat" single and help design the band's new album cover -- "Pizza for Everyone."

Following on "The Office," "SchrutePI.com" will launch along with a new interactive story where fans can choose their own "Office" adventure.

"30 Rock" also will feature a new "Dear Tracy" and a new "Frank v. Lutz" webisode.

May 10 will mark the debut of a new NBC.com game for "Chuck" fans. "Chuck's Evil Plot" will challenge viewers to read a plot synopsis, then quickly identify either the "Chuck" episode or the popular spy movie it comes from. Then on May 13, NBC.com will treat "Parks & Recreation" fans to an extended full-episode "Producer's Cut" featuring original footage not shown on television, along with "Snakehole Lounge" updates tied to the episode. In addition, there will be the launch of two Cerie V-logs (video blog) for "30 Rock."

May 18 will offer fans of "The Biggest Loser" the opportunity to cast their vote for the third finalist.

On the season finale night for Thursday programs on May 20, NBC.com provides another special "Parks and Recreation" extended full episode "Producer's Cut," and features the premiere of the Parks Department newsletter spotlighting a style column from Tom Haverford.

April, Tom and Donna will also launch new in-character Twitter profiles.

Plus, "30 Rock" will share more new "Dear Tracy" and "Ask Tina" pieces.
