He'll play "Clyde's sidekick, the fastidious, precise, careful and far-thinking Randolph. After assisting Clyde's Uncle Bill in all his secret charitable endeavors during his employment as a butler, he soon becomes Clyde's only confidante, the Alfred to Clyde's Bruce Wayne, his assistant in doing good while staying under the radar." Stephen Fry originated the role in the project's previous incarnation. Diane Guerrero also stars. (Deadline.com)

UNCLE BUCK (ABC/ABCS; W: Brian Bradley & Steven Cragg; D: Phil Traill) - James Lesure ("Men at Work") has booked a lead role on the comedy pilot, based on John Hughes's 1989 film about Buck Russell (Mike Epps), a childish man who learns how to be an adult by taking care of his brother Will's kids in a very childish way. He'll play the aforementioned Will, husband to Alexis (Nia Long) and the reasonable, patient father to their three children: 5-year-old Maizy (Aalyrah Caldwell) who's the dreamer, 9-year-old Miles (Sayeed Shahidi) who likes to stir the pot, and 16-yearold Tia (Iman Benson) who is the straight A student and trying to get rid of her nerdy image. He'll play Andrew, "a guy who sees the best in everything. Even at 40, when life's twists and turns have taken a bit of wind out of his sails, it only takes the reappearance of his childhood crush, Holly, to awaken his love of life and belief in happy endings." Kelly O'Sullivan and Tyler Labine also star. (Deadline.com)
