KIDA BURNS NAMED AMERICA'S FAVORITE DANCER ON THE SEASON 13 FINALE OF "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: THE NEXT GENERATION"

Two-Hour Season Finale Included a Performance by Maddie Ziegler and the Top 10 Finalists, as well as Russian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin

Tonight, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: THE NEXT GENERATION came to a thrilling conclusion when Kida Burns was named the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Burns, 14, from Sacramento, CA, received the most votes and danced off with the cash prize of $250,000, the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and the title of America's Favorite Dancer.

"Being named America's Favorite Dancer means a lot to me, because I've worked hard, up to this point, to accomplish my life goal of showing the world my talent," said Burns.

Fellow finalists J.T. Church, Emma Hellenkamp and Tate Mcrae were eliminated as host Cat Deeley revealed the voting results.

In addition to naming America's Favorite Dancer, the Season 13 finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: THE NEXT GENERATION featured a performance by Maddie Ziegler and the Top 10 finalists, as well as a performance from Russian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and is from 19 Entertainment, a division of CORE Media Group, and dick clark productions.
