"Saturday Night Live" Closes Out Season 42 with All-Star Lineups

NEW YORK - April 26, 2017 - "Saturday Night Live" has set its hosts and musical guests for the last three episodes of its 42nd season.

Chris Pine will make his hosting debut on the May 6 telecast. He stars in the upcoming film adaptation of "Wonder Woman," set to premiere June 2. He will be joined by the long awaited "SNL" debut of LCD Soundsystem, who will be playing material from their forthcoming new album.

Melissa McCarthy, who has appeared this season as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, will be returning May 13 to the "SNL" stage for the fifth time as host. She will be joined by musical guest HAIM, who is set to release their highly anticipated sophomore album this summer.

Dwayne Johnson will host for the fifth time on the May 20 season finale. Johnson is starring in the film adaptation of "Baywatch," premiering May 25. Global superstar Katy Perry will be returning to the "SNL" stage as a musical guest for the third time.

"Saturday Night Live" is broadcast live from NBC's famed Studio 8H in New York City's Rockefeller Center. The program is a production of Broadway Video in association with SNL Studios. Lorne Michaels is the executive producer.
