PAST WINNERS WILL SERVE AS ADVISERS FOR THE COACHES DURING THE KNOCKOUT ROUNDS BEGINNING MONDAY, APRIL 2 ON "THE VOICE"

Grammy Nominee and Season 3 Winner Cassadee Pope to Advise Team Kelly, Season 9 Winner Jordan Smith to Advise Team Adam, Season 12 Winner Chris Blue to Advise Team Alicia, and Most Recent Winner and Season 13 Champion Chloe Kohanski to Advise Team Blake

"The Voice" Continues to Innovate with Introduction of "Save" in Knockout Rounds, Adding Another Exciting Twist to the Competition

Four-Time Emmy Award-Winning Series Battle Rounds Conclude Tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - March 27, 2018 - For the first time ever, "Voice" coaches Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have recruited those who know best how to navigate and win the competition to advise their artists - former "Voice" champions! Winners Cassadee Pope, Jordan Smith, Chris Blue and Chloe Kohanski will serve as advisers for the coaches during the Knockout Rounds on NBC's four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice," beginning Monday, April 2 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT).

Grammy Award nominee and Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope will advise Team Kelly, highest-selling "Voice" artist and Season 9 winner Jordan Smith will advise Team Adam, Season 12 winner Chris Blue, who recently released his new single "Blue Blood Blues," will advise Team Alicia and most recent winner, Season 13 champion and highest-charting Knockout performer Chloe Kohanski will advise Team Blake.

As advisers during the Knockout Rounds, Pope, Smith, Blue and Kohanski will work with and mentor the remaining 32 artists with coaches. Then, for their Knockout performance, the artists will be paired against a teammate once more. This time, they will each select their own song to perform individually, and the coaches alone will choose the winner from their team to move on to the Live Playoff shows.

In an exciting new twist, the Knockout Rounds will introduce the "Save," a format change that gives each coach one chance to keep a deserving artist who did not win their Knockout on their team. But with the "steals" still in play, the artist can potentially choose to go with a different coach, leading to even tougher decisions for the coaches and artists. Each coach will have one "save" and one "steal" during the Knockouts, and the Top 24 artists will move on to the Live Playoffs. The Knockout Rounds continue Tuesday, April 3 (8-9 p.m.), Monday, April 9 (8-10 p.m.) and Tuesday, April 10 (8-9 p.m.).

The Battle Rounds conclude tonight as the remaining artists compete for a spot in the Top 32. During this phase of the competition, the coaches enlisted music industry heavyweights Trace Adkins, Hailee Steinfeld, Shawn Mendes and Julia Michaels to prepare their artists for the Battle Rounds. In the episode, Adam's final pairing lights up the stage with an energetic performance of a chart-topping power ballad by rock band Heart, and Alicia's final pairing - and song choice - leads to a heartfelt and moving performance that has the other coaches stunned and in awe. Then, Blake's smart pairing and perfect song choice for two of his strong female country artists has Adkins declaring it as his favorite performance of the battles, and Alicia is the only coach left with a steal.

Drawing on influences as diverse as Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Shania Twain, Chris Brown, the Canton Spirituals and Bishop T.D.
