ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING/GOTHAM KNIGHTS/SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - No decisions have been made about the future of the aforementioned trio. Traditionally options on a series' cast expire on June 30. (Deadline.com)
DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (Disney+) - Clark Johnson has signed on to recur on the Marvel Studios series as well as direct two episodes. No character specifics were given beyond he is believed to be playing Cherry. (Deadline.com)
DISNEY+ ORIGINAL PROJECTS (Disney+) - The streamer has earmarked 48 original projects to be removed from its service as part of "a content impairment charge of $1.5 billion to $1.8 billion." Among them are 25 series: "@Gina Yei: #WithAllMyHeartAndMore," "America the Beautiful," "Among the Stars," "Be Our Chef," "Big Shot," "Diary of a Future President," "Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings," "Earth to Ned," "Encore!," "Family Reboot," "Foodtastic," "It's a Dog's Life with Bill Farmer," "Just Beyond," "Marvel's Hero Project," "Rogue Trip," "Shop Class," "The Big Fib," "The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers," "The Mysterious Benedict Society," "The Right Stuff," "The Quest," "The World According to Jeff Goldblum," "Turner & Hooch," "Weird But True!," "Willow," and "Willow: Behind the Magic." GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Co-stars James Pickens Jr., Chandra Wilson, Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver, Camilla Luddington and Caterina Scorsone are all slated to return for the series' landmark 20th season. Other decisions, such as the five new cast additions (Harry Shum Jr., Adelaide Kane, Alexis Floyd, Niko Terho, and Midori Francis), have yet to be made but "they are all expected to come back," according to said report. As previously announced, Ellen Pompeo and Kelly McCreary have exited as full-time regulars. (Deadline.com)
HELL OF A WEEK WITH CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD/TOONING OUT THE NEWS (Comedy Central) - The cable channel has pulled the plug on both late-night series from executive producer Stephen Colbert. "We will not be resuming production on another season of Hell of A Week," said a Comedy Central spokesperson. "We thank Charlamagne and the amazing team behind the show for its impactful conversations and the incredible collaboration as we look ahead to our future partnership with Charlamagne." "The Emmy award-nominated Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out The News pushed the boundaries of satirical news and disrupted the late-night landscape with its outspoken animated anchors," added a Comedy Central spokesperson.
