CBS Has Six of the Top 10 Scripted Programs

"CSI" Is the Number One Scripted Series for the Second Straight Week

CBS Dominates Friday Again, Winning Every Half Hour in Viewers and Key Demos

"Two and a Half Men" and "Rules of Engagement" Are the Week's Top Comedies in Adults 18-49

"Numb3rs" Delivers Its Largest Audience of the Season

CBS remained the Number One network in viewers for the second consecutive week as the Network's had six of the top 10 scripted series led by CSI for the second week in a row, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 4, week 31 of the 2007-2008 television year.

CSI (#4), NCIS (#8) and CSI: MIAMI (#10) all finished among the week's top 10 programs while CRIMINAL MINDS, TWO AND A HALF MEN, WITHOUT A TRACE, SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA, COLD CASE, CSI: NY and 60 MINUTES all placed in the top 20.

TWO AND A HALF MEN and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT were the week's top sitcoms in viewers. TWO AND A HALF MEN, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER were the week's top three sitcoms in adults 25-54 while TWO AND A HALF MEN is the week's Number One sitcom in adults 18-49 with RULES OF ENGAGEMENT tied for #2.

For the week in viewers: CBS (10.00m), FOX (9.42m), ABC (9.17m) and NBC (6.46m). Season-to-date, CBS is second in viewers (10.43m), behind FOX (11.20m) and ahead of ABC (9.16m) and NBC (8.25m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 3.4/09 in adults 25-54 and 2.6/07 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is second in adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.0/08, with ABC).

For the week in households: CBS (6.5.10) ABC (6.0/10), FOX (5.7/10) and NBC (4.3/07). Season-to-date, CBS is tied for first (6.6/11, with FOX) and +12% ahead of ABC (5.9/10), +25% ahead of NBC (5.3/09) and +288% ahead of CW (1.7/03).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

? THE BIG BANG THEORY (5.0/08, 8.07m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +9% in households (from 4.6/07), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/09), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +680,000 viewers (from 7.39m, +9%).

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.3/08, 8.84m) was first in adults 18-34 (3.1/09), second in adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +4% in households (from 5.1/08), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/10), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/09), +11% in adults 18-34 (from 2.8/08) and added +390,000 viewers (from 8.45m, +5%) compared to last week.

? TWO AND A HALF MEN (7.9/12, 12.92m) was second in adults 18-49 (4.8/11) and adults 18-34 (3.2/08).

? RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (6.4/09, 10.31m) was second in adults 25-54 (4.9/11) and adults 18-49 (4.0/09).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (9.2/15), viewers (13.88m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12), adults 18-49 (3.9/10) and adults 18-34 (2.7/07).

? NCIS was second in households (9.4/15), viewers (14.76m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). Compared to last week, NCIS was up +3% in households (from 9.1/14), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/10), even in adults 18-49 and added +520,000 viewers (from 14.24m, +4%).

? CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.03m), adults 25-54 (4.5/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/08) - all behind "American Idol".

? CSI: NY was first in households (7.6/12), viewers (11.51m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

-- Thursday, CBS was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.42m), adults 25-54 (5.2/13) and second in adults 18-49 (4.1/11). CBS won every half-hour in viewers for the second Thursday in a row.

? SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (12.32m), adults 25-54 (5.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.0/12).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (11.1/17), viewers (18.01m), second in adults 25-54 (6.5/15, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (5.1/13). Compared to last week, CSI was up +5% in households (from 10.6/16), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 6.3/14), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 4.7/12) and added +990,000 viewers (from 17.02m, +6%).

? WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (8.7/15), viewers (12.83m), second in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).

-- Friday, CBS was first in households (5.8/10), viewers (9.14m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). CBS won every half-hour in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second consecutive Friday. CBS has finished first every Friday this season with its first-run regularly scheduled lineup (16 times) in households, viewers and adults 25-54, first in adults 18-49 with the network's first-run regularly scheduled lineup 15 Fridays out of 16 this season.

? GHOST WHISPERER easily won its time slot in households (5.9/11), viewers (9.21m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.3/08). Compared to last week, GHOST WHISPERER is up +4% in households (from 5.7/11), even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +230,000 viewers (from 8.98m, +3%). .

? MOONLIGHT won its time period in households (5.0/09), viewers (7.89m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07) for the second consecutive week.

? NUMB3RS was first in households (6.5/12), viewers (10.33m), adults 25-54 (3.4/10) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). Compared to last week, NUMB3RS was up +8% in households (from 6.0/11), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/08), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/07) and added +690,000 viewers (from 9.64m, +7%). This is NUMB3RS best viewers delivery of the season.
