CBS PLACES FIRST IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

CBS Has 5 of the Week's Top 10 Programs in Viewers

"Two and a Half Men" Is the Number One Scripted Program Ranking No. 3 and "NCIS" is Top Drama at No. 6

"Flashpoint," in its New Time Period, Places First in Viewers and Key Demographics

"Big Brother 10" Wednesday and Sunday Editions Post Week-to-Week Gains

CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 (tie) with five of the week's top 10 programs including the Number One comedy and drama, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 27, week 44 of the 2007-2008 television year.

CBS had five of the week's top 10 programs including the Number One scripted series (TWO AND A HALF MEN, No. 3 overall) and the Number One drama (NCIS, No. 6 overall). Additionally, FLASHPOINT, in its new Thursday time period, placed first in viewers and key demographics while the Wednesday and Thursday editions of BIG BROTHER posted week-to-week increases.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.10m), FOX (5.53m), NBC (5.39m) and ABC (4.33m). Summer-to-date: CBS (6.82m), FOX (6.29m), NBC (6.00m) and ABC (5.44m).

For the week in key demographics: CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.1/06, with FOX) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.6/05, with NBC).

For the week in households: CBS (4.1/07) was +17% ahead of both NBC and FOX (3.5/06, each) and +46% ahead of ABC (2.8/05). Summer-to-date: CBS (4.6/08) is +18% ahead of both NBC and FOX (3.9/07, each) and +31% ahead of ABC (3.5/06).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) was first in households (6.4/11), viewers (9.76m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). TWO AND A HALF MEN was the week's No.1 scripted program and ranked third for the week.

? NCIS (R) was first in households (5.9/10), second in viewers (8.52m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (2.2/06, with NBC). NCIS was the week's top drama.

? BIG BROTHER 10 TUESDAY was second in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.07m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.2/06, with ABC).

? BIG BROTHER 10 WEDNESDAY was second in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.22m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07). Compared to last week's premiere, BIG BROTHER 10 WEDNESDAY was up +5% in households (from 3.9/07), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/07), +17% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/06) and added +460,000 viewers (from 5.76m, +8%).

? BIG BROTHER 10 SUNDAY was first in households (3.7/07), viewers (5.84m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/06, -0.1 behind FOX) Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 10 SUNDAY was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.4/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06), even in households and added +120,000 viewers (from 5.72m, +2%).

? GREATEST AMERICAN DOG was first in adults 25-54 (2.1/07), second in households (4.0/08), viewers (6.07m) and adults 18-49 (1.6/06).

? FLASHPOINT (P) won its new Thursday (10:00-11:00 PM) time period in households (4.5/08), viewers (6.70m), adults 25-54 (2.2/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05). Compared to last week's Friday broadcast, FLASHPOINT was up +5% in adults 25-54 and +13% in adults 18-49. FLASHPOINT out delivered the week-ago time period by +15% in households, +26% in viewers, +10% in adults 25-54 and +6% in adults 18-49.
