"IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN" RECORDS BIGGEST PREMIERE AUDIENCE SINCE 2003
"Important Things with Demetri Martin" premiered Wednesday night to an audience of 2.4 million total viewers, the most-watched series premiere for COMEDY CENTRAL since "Chappelle's Show" drew 2.5 million viewers for its 2003 premiere.
"Timing," the first episode of the new series from Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions, was the #1 program on all of television in Prime among Men 18-24, (beating out �American Idol�) and was ranked #1 among Men 18-34 in cable. The premiere was also the highest-rated and most-watched telecast in 2009 on COMEDY CENTRAL among Men 18-34 (3.6 rating; 1 million viewers) and Men 18-24 (6.6 rating; 800,000 viewers).
