CBS Has the Week's Top Seven Scripted Programs, Led by NCIS

"The Big Bang Theory" is the Number One Comedy in Adults 18-49 and Top Scripted Series in Adults 25-54

"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" Leads Thursday in Key Demos with its Best Ratings Since its Season Premiere

The Finale of "The Amazing Race" Crosses the Finish Line First with a Time Period Sweep

CBS placed first in viewers for the eighth time in nine weeks as the Network had the top seven scripted programs, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 9, week 33 of the 2009-2010 television season.

NCIS, THE MENTALIST, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, THE GOOD WIFE, CRIMNAL MINDS and THE BIG BANG THEORY were the week's top scripted series in viewers. NCIS was the week's top drama, while THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's top comedy.

For the week in viewers: CBS (10.11m), ABC (8.23m), FOX (8.06m) and NBC (5.57m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.81m), ahead of FOX (9.98m), ABC (8.56m) and NBC (8.36m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.2/09, -0.1 behind FOX) and averaged a 2.3/07 in adults 18-49. Season to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10, tie with FOX) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the week in households: CBS (6.4/11), ABC (5.2/09), FOX (4.8/08) and NBC (3.5/06). Season-to-date in households, CBS is first (7.2/12), ahead of FOX (5.8/09), ABC (5.4/09) and NBC (5.1/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? A special 9:00 PM broadcast of THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 18-34 (3.4/10), tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.6/12, with ABC), second in households (7.0/11), viewers (11.63m) and adults 25-54 (5.4/13).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in adults 18-49 (2.7/07), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.4/09, with ABC), second in both households (6.3/11), and viewers (9.62m).

? NCIS was second in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.10m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). NCIS finished in its closest competitive position with "American Idol Tuesday" in households (-0.6 rtg pts), viewers (-2.40m), adults 25-54 (-3.1 rtg pts) and adults 18-49 (-3.1 rtg pts).

? THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.4/15), viewers (12.88m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07, -0.2 behind NBC). Compared to last week, THE GOOD WIFE was up +5% in both households (from 8.0/14) and adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/09) and added +710,000 viewers (from 12.07m, +7%).

? CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (7.7/12), viewers (12.39m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). Compared to last first-run episode (on April 14, 2010), CRIMINAL MINDS was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/09).

? CSI: NY was first in households (6.6/12), viewers (10.30m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07).

-- Thursday, CBS was first in households (8.6/15), viewers (14.02m), adults 25-54 (4.7/13) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11). CBS swept these measures for the 8th consecutive Thursday.

? SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was first in households (7.7/14), viewers (13.06m), adults 25-54 (5.4/16) and adults 18-49 (4.1/14). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was up +1% in households (from 7.6/13), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 5.2/15), even in adults 18-49 and added +320,000 viewers (from 12.74m +3%). SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS posted its best deliveries in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since its season premiere, matched the best delivery in adults 18-49 since the season premiere. SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was the night's #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the 4th consecutive week.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.7/14), viewers (14.15m), second in adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.1/09, with NBC). Compared to last week, CSI was up +2% in households (from 8.5/14), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/09) and added +520,000 viewers (from 13.63m, +4%).

? THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.4/17), viewers (14.85m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/10). THE MENTALIST was the night's #1 program in viewers.

? THE AMAZING RACE 16 was first in households (5.9/10), viewers (10.58m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). Compared to last week, THE AMAZING RACE 16 added +290,000 viewers (from 10.29m, +3%).

? CBS SUNDAY MOVIE SPECIAL "Jesse Stone: No Remorse" (S) was first in households (7.1/12) and viewers (11.49m) from 9:00-11:00PM and was Sunday's top program in those measures.
