Friday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, CBS, FOX Share Thanksgiving Leftovers

Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

CBS (7.19 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) shared the Thanksgiving leftovers on Friday with its all-repeat mix of "CSI: NY" (6.68 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1), "Blue Bloods" (7.34 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) and another "Blue Bloods" (7.56 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).

Sharing the adults 18-49 crown was ABC (4.92 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) with a repeat of "Happy Feet" (4.53 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) and a new "20/20" (5.69 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).

FOX (3.94 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) likewise was in the young adults top spot with its presentation of "TV's Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special" (3.94 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.11 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up the season finale of "School Pride" (2.28 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8) and the feature "Enchanted" (3.52 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).

And finally, repeats of "Smallville" (1.58 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8) and "Supernatural" (1.43 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10) on The CW (1.51 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) rounded out the evening.

Week-to-week changes (adults 18-49): School Pride (0.00%).

Late-night metered market ratings will appear on Monday.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (11/27/09):

FOX (4.79 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) claimed top adults 18-49 honors on Friday thanks to its broadcast of "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown" (4.79 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2).

Second place then went to CBS (5.31 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) with its all-repeat lineup of "Ghost Whisperer" (5.63 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3), "Medium" (5.11 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "NUMB3RS" (5.19 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6).

Next up was ABC (4.37 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) with new episodes of "Supernanny" (3.48 million viewers, #T7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8), "Ugly Betty" (3.39 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "20/20" (6.25 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.74 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) offered up repeats of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" (3.88 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "The Jay Leno Show" (3.48 million viewers, #T7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7).

And finally, repeats of "Smallville" (1.58 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #10) and "America's Next Top Model" (0.84 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) on The CW (1.21 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) rounded out the evening.
