"The Voice" Is the #1 Entertainment Telecast of the Night in 18-49 and Other Key Demographics
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, October 22.

Monday Results (ABC carried NFL coverage in Detroit):

(Due to live coverage of the Presidential Debate, fast-affiliate ratings are subject to significant adjustment in official nationals).

* Currently in fast-affiliate results, which are subject to revision, "The Voice" is averaging a 4.2/11 in 18-49 and 12.0 million viewers overall, pending updates, making it the #1 entertainment telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and other key demographics in a competitive time period versus ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," Fox's deciding game of the National League Championship Series and CBS's "encores of "Big Bang Theory" and "2 Broke Girls."

* Pending updates, from its first half-hour to its second, "The Voice" grew by 21 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 4.6 from a 3.8) and by 16 percent or 1.7 million persons in total viewers (12.8 million vs. 11.1 million).

* Pending updates, "The Voice" is currently topping Fox's baseball from 8-9 p.m. ET by a 56 percent margin in 18-49 rating (with a 4.2 vs. a 2.7 from 8-9 p.m.), ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" by 75 percent (4.2 vs. 2.4) and CBS's comedy encores by 100 percent (4.2 vs. 2.1).

* Fast-affiliate ratings for NBC News' live coverage of the Presidential Debate from 9-11 p.m. are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.0/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/4 with an encore.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.6/2; "Nightline," 1.1/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

* At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
