FOX Has 2 of the Top 20 Programs Among Adults 18-49
FOX spins the numbers for the week of April 28-May 4.

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 28 - MAY 4, 2014

FOX's week was highlighted with the season finale of THE FOLLOWING, AMERICAN IDOL XIII, THE SIMPSONS' LEGO-themed episode and COSMOS which posted its highest rating since its third telecast in late March. FOX ranked No. 4 for the week among Adults 18-49.

Overall, FOX had:

· 2 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: FAMILY GUY (No. 12) and SIMPSONS (No. 20).

· 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: FAMILY GUY (No. 2), SIMPSONS (No. 6), COSMOS (No. 11) and AMERICAN DAD-7:30P (No. 17).

· 6 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: SIMPSONS (No. 3), FAMILY GUY (No. 4), AMERICAN IDOL-WED (No. 14), AMERICAN IDOL-THURS (No. 16), COSMOS (No. 19 tie) and AMERICAN DAD-7:30P (No. 19 tie).

· 1 of the Top 20 programs among Total Viewers: AMERICAN IDOL-WED (No. 19).

Program and Nightly Highlights

Monday: FOX ranked No. 5 in prime among Adults 18-49 (1.2/3) with an encores of BONES (0.9/3) leading in to the season two finale of THE FOLLOWING (1.5/4). THE FOLLOWING gained one-tenth versus its delivery over the past six weeks (vs. 1.4/4).

Tuesday: FOX ranked No. 5 in broadcast prime among Adults 18-49 (1.0/3). GLEE delivered a 0.9/3, identical to its performance last week. At 9p, NEW GIRL posted a 1.1/3 while THE MINDY PROJECT (1.1/3) gained one-tenth from last week's telecast.

Wednesday: FOX (1.9/6) was the No. 2 broadcast prime network for the night, within two-tenths of No. 1 CBS. With the Top 5 performing, AMERICAN IDOL-WED averaged a 1.9/6 from 8-10p.

Thursday: FOX (1.4/5) ranked as the No. 4 broadcast prime net among Adults 18-49. At 8p, HELL'S KITCHEN posted a 1.6/6 while AMERICAN IDOL-THU garnered a 1.5/5 and SURVIVING JACK rounded out the night with a 1.0/3.

Friday: FOX's Kitchen Nightmares line-up ranked No. 5 in prime Friday (0.9/3). KITCHEN NIGHTMARES delivered a 0.9/3 from 8-9p and a 0.8/3 from 9-10p.

Saturday: FOX ranked No. 5 (tie-Telemundo) in broadcast prime. From 8-10p: a SIMPSONS ENCORES SPECIAL posted a 0.4/2 followed by a 24: JACK'S BACK SPECIAL (0.3/1) and THE FOLLOWING encore (0.2/1).

Sunday: FOX (1.6/5) ranked as the No. 2 broadcast prime network for Sunday among Adults 18-49. COSMOS (1.6/5) posted it highest-rating since its third telecast in late March and matched its prior series average. Versus last week, THE SIMPSONS' LEGO-themed episode (2.0/6 vs. 1.6/5) was up four-tenths of a rating point, while AMERICAN DAD (1.3/4 vs. 1.2/4) and FAMILY GUY (2.2/7 vs. 2.1/6) were each up one-tenth and BOB'S BURGERS (1.1/4) remained flat. FAMILY GUY (2.2/7) was the highest-rated broadcast program of Sunday night.
