Despite Special Competition from the "Murder" Season Finale, "Blacklist" Grows 6% Week to Week

DESPITE SPECIAL COMPETITION FROM THE "MURDER" SEASON FINALE, "BLACKLIST" GROWS +6% WEEK TO WEEK

"BLACKLIST" -- WHICH LAST WEEK JUMPED BY A SERIES-RECORD +87% IN L+3 AMONG ADULTS 18-49 - HITS ITS HIGH SINCE THE SHOW'S THURSDAY PREMIERE

"ALLEGIANCE" GROWS +9% WEEK TO WEEK IN TOTAL VIEWERS

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "The Blacklist" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) grew +6% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (1.8 vs. 1.7) and by +2% in total viewers (7.854 million vs. 7.713 million). Last night's "Blacklist" built by +157% on its lead-in in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 0.7) and by +117% in total viewers (7.9 million vs. 3.6 million).

· "The Blacklist scored its top 18-49 rating since Feb. 5, the night "Blacklist" made its Thursday debut (2.4) with the conclusion a two-parter started on the night of the Super Bowl.

· Despite special competition last night from the two-hour season finale of "How to Get Away With Murder," "Blacklist" grew week to week by +14% in adults 25-54 (2.5 vs. 2.2), +17% in men 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.8) and +12% in women 25-54 (2.9 vs. 2.6).

· "The Blacklist" will increase substantially in L+3 - last week's telecast grew by a series-record +87% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 (1.72 to 3.21) and in total viewers by 4.8 million persons (7.7 million to 12.5 million), the biggest increase on the night among Big 4 primetime programs.

· Upscale: Last week's "Blacklist" was the night's top-indexing primetime telecast on the Big 4 among adults 18-49 living in homes with the head of household having four or more years of college, indexing at a 129 in those homes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes). L+7 ESTIMATES FOR LAST NIGHT: 3.6 in 18-49, 13.5 million viewers overall

Note that the Blacklist" has energized NBC's Thursday. In L+3 averages heading into this week:

· "The Blacklist" has improved the Thursday 9-10 p.m. ET slot by +183% in 18-49 versus prior regularly scheduled entertainment programming in the slot this season (3.4 vs. 1.2 in affiliate average, "live plus three day") and by 9.1 million viewers overall (13.3 million vs. 4.2 million, L+3).

· NBC has improved its Thursday nights by +25% in 18-49 since the move of "The Blacklist" to the night, averaging a 2.0 versus a 1.6 previously with regularly scheduled entertainment programming in L+3, and increased on the night by more than 3.0 million viewers overall (8.2 million vs. 5.2 million, L+3).

· "Allegiance" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew +9% week to week in total viewers (3.609 million vs. 3.320 million). Upscale: "Allegiance" delivers a strong concentration of upscale viewers, indexing at a 131 for adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes, "most current" including L+3).

· "Allegiance" will grow significantly in L+3: last week's "Allegiance" increased in L+3 vs. L+SD by +38% in 18-49 rating (0.88 to 1.21) and in total viewers by more than 1.5 million persons (3.3 million to 4.9 million).

· "The Slap" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) equaled last week's women 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 1.0) and grew +15% in women 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3), despite facing fierce competition in time period from CBS's "Big Bang Theory," ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and Fox's "American Idol"

· Upscale: The prior week's "Slap" was the night's most upscale primetime telecast on the Big 4 in L+SD in terms of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes, indexing at a 133 (100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

· "The Slap" will increase significantly in L+3: last week's "Slap" grew in L+3 vs. L+SD by +36% in 18-49 rating (0.83 to 1.13) and in total viewers by 1.0 million persons (4.0 million to 5.0 million).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.3/7; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/5.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
