ABC
(presents on Tuesday, May 18)

Not surprisingly the Alphabet is set to launch eight new series this fall with changes to every night of the week, save for Saturday. The big news however is that the network is expected to shelve the fourth season of "Alias" until midseason in order to give newcomer "Desperate Housewives" a higher profile launch on Sunday nights. "Alias" would then return in January for the an uninterrupted run.

As for the rest of its schedule, ABC will trim an hour of comedies while adding two new reality series ("The Swap" and "The Benefactor"). Both "My Wife and Kids" and "George Lopez" are set to relocate to Tuesday nights, followed by "Jim" and new entry "That's Just Rodney." "Eight Simple Rules" then, as previously indicated, jumps to Fridays along with "Less Than Perfect."

Here's the network's complete schedule set to be unveiled tomorrow afternoon:

CBS
(presents on Wednesday, May 19)

The biggest rumor on Monday was that the Eye may pull the plug on "Yes, Dear" in favor of a newer entry. With just two comedy orders expected - both Jason Alexander and John Goodman's projects - the decision would fit with the network's current six-comedy setup. On the flip side, there's also talk of expanding Wednesdays into a two-hour comedy block with "60 Minutes II" being pushed back to 10:00/9:00c.

As for dramas, "C.S.I.: New York's" home still remains a mystery. Several schedules put "Dr. Vegas" on Tuesdays in the place of "The Guardian" while "Clubhouse" may take residence on Friday nights sandwiched between "Joan of Arcadia" and "J.A.G."

New Series
"C.S.I.: New York"
"Center of the Universe"
"The Clubhouse"
"Dr. Vegas"
"Untitled Jason Alexander/Tony Kornheiser Project"

FOX
(presents on Thursday, May 20)

The network has firmed up its fall commitments with new orders out to "The Inside," "Johnny Zero" and "Related by Family." It's not clear if FOX will release a "fall schedule" or simply fill in series on the fly based on the results of its summer slate. As for "Arrested Development" and "Tru Calling," both series are definitely on their way back.

New Series
"House"
"The Inside"
"Johnny Zero"
"Related by Family"

UPN
(presents on Thursday, May 20)

While the fate of "Enterprise" remains up in the air, industry insiders indicate the netlet is set to go forward with at least two new dramas: the Mel Gibson-produced "Kevin Hill" and the detective series "Veronica Mars."

New Series
"Kevin Hill"
"Veronica Mars"
