Shaun Robinson Extends Contract at "Access Hollywood"

SHAUN ROBINSON EXTENDS CONTRACT AT "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD"

BURBANK, Calif. -- April 13, 2005 -- Shaun Robinson has signed a multiyear deal to remain at "Access Hollywood," it was announced today by Barry Wallach, President, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution and Rob Silverstein, executive producer of the hit entertainment news magazine, currently in its ninth season. Robinson will continue in her current post as co-anchor of the weekend edition of the show and correspondent for the weekday edition. She will also continue to serve as host of "TV One Access," the urban entertainment news program that airs on cable channel TV One.

"Shaun is an important part of the 'Access Hollywood' team," says Wallach. "We are delighted that she will be with us as we head into our 10th season."

"Shaun is smart, aggressive and has been a team player from day one," says Silverstein. "I'm thrilled that she will continue to be a part of the most credible entertainment news magazine in the world."

Robinson joined "Access Hollywood" in May 1999. During her tenure at the show, she has covered several high-profile events such as the Oscars�, Golden Globes�, Emmys� and Grammy Awards� and landed one-on-one interviews with A-list stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Jane Fonda and Nicole Kidman. In addition, Robinson hosted the pre-shows for the 2002 and 2005 Academy Awards�. In March 2004, Robinson was named host of "TV One Access"

Before joining "Access Hollywood," Robinson was a reporter and anchor for WSVN-TV in Miami, FL. Prior to that she worked in the same capacity for KEYE-TV in Austin, TX where her series, "Profiles in Power," which focused on women who made an impact in Central Texas, earned her an American Women in Radio and Television award. Robinson's professional career began in the Midwest as a medical reporter and weekend anchor for WISN-TV in Milwaukee, WI, where her series "Women and Cancer," garnered her an Associated Press award. She also served as host of the daily talk show, "Milwaukee's Talking."
