DISCOVERY'S HIT CLASSIC CAR SERIES "FAST N' LOUD" RETURNS WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd AT 10PM E/P

Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman Turn Rusting Classics Into Hot Rod Goldmines

(Silver Spring, Md.) - To automotive mastermind and Gas Monkey Garage owner Richard Rawlings and fellow car fanatic and mechanical prodigy Aaron Kaufman, the vintage vehicles rusting in Americans' overgrown fields and musty garages aren't junk - they're goldmines.

Discovery Channel's FAST N' LOUD follows Rawlings and Kaufmann as they return these derelict rides to their former glory and get them back on the road - but not without putting their own hot rod spin on them first.

Richard and Aaron need big projects - and big profits - to keep Gas Monkey's doors open. Together, they travel the back roads of Texas, scouring barns, swap meets and open fields in search of rare rides to restore. Once Richard wheels and deals for a good price, the real work begins back at the garage, where the guys race against the clock to finish the job in time for auction. Time is money at Gas Monkey Garage - and Richard and Aaron can't afford to lose either.

FAST N' LOUD returns with all-new episodes beginning Monday, September 3rd at 10PM E/P, following all-new episodes of AMERICAN CHOPPER at 9PM E/P.

Episode: Amazing Impala

Premieres: Monday, September 3rd at 10PM E/P

Description: It's sweltering in Dallas, both inside the Gas Monkey Garage and out. Gas Monkey Garage owner Richard Rawlings and master mechanic Aaron Kaufman take a road trip to pick up a 1964 Impala buried in at least ten years of dirt and debris. The Gas Monkey crew and upholstery wiz Sue give this iconic car new life just in time to show it to a discerning customer: Aaron's stepdad, who owned one back in the day.

Episode: Ramshackle Rambler

Premieres: Monday, September 10th at 10PM E/P

Description: Gas Monkey Garage owner Richard Rawlings and ace mechanic Aaron Kaufman head to Amarillo to pick up a '59 Rambler, but when they get there they discover it's covered in rust and filled with rat droppings. It will need to be rebuilt from the ground up to make it SoCal surf-worthy once again. Richard haggles for a '31 Model A Roadster for a quick flip. And Richard's friend Thomas picks up a Willis Coupe (aka WIllys Gasser) on Gas Monkey's behalf. It's rare and valuable in its own right, but could sell for $200,000 if Richard can prove its connection to a legendary drag racing team.

Episode: '48 Chevy Fleetmaster

Premieres: Monday, September 17th at 10PM E/P

Description: Gas Monkey Garage owner Richard Rawlings and his crew, including top mechanic Aaron Kaufman, try to"knock the ugly" out of a '48 Chevy Fleetmaster. Richard relives a little "Corvette Summer" when he buys a 1974 Corvette for a quick flip. He also picks up a '63 Caddy similar to the one Al Pacino drove in "Scarface." Apohlsterer Sue does her magic, but will it be enough to make the car sellable at an auction with a very tough crowd?

FAST N' LOUD is produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Studios; Craig Piligian and Eddie Rohwedder are executive producers. For Discovery, Craig Coffman is executive producer.
