"LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL" ANNOUNCES MARY LOU KING OF COCHRANVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA, AS THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF "LIVE'S SEARCH FOR UNSTOPPABLE MOMS"

Exceptional Mom Will Take Home Grand Prize of $100,000

NEW YORK, NY - March 15, 2013 - On today's "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced that Mary Lou King of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, is the winner of "LIVE's Search for Unstoppable Moms," and will take home "LIVE's" grand prize of $100,000.

"LIVE" was on the hunt for exceptional moms who go above and beyond the call of duty, are prepared for anything, and deserve to be celebrated for all that they do. After putting out the call for entries in January, producers received more than 20,000 submissions from across the U.S. and Canada, and narrowed the field to 15 semi-finalists. Four finalists were selected, and after each finalist was honored on the show this week, "LIVE's" viewers voted online, and selected King as the ultimate "Unstoppable Mom."

King was nominated by her daughter, Kelly Stoltzfus. In her submission letter, Stoltzfus wrote: "My Mom is the most amazing, selfless, inspiring, and uplifting woman in this entire world," and described a typical day in her mother's life on their Pennsylvania dairy farm. Up before dawn milking the cows, running the farm, taking care of the family, including her mentally handicapped daughter, King's day lasts late into the evening, only to have her rise the next morning and start all over again. Trained as a nurse, this hard-working and selfless woman inspired both of her daughters to attend nursing school as well.

In addition to the $100,000 grand prize presented to Mary Lou, each finalist received a surprise gift from "LIVE" - ranging from a cruise, to a $5,000 shopping spree, to a resort vacation - plus an additional $10,000 for each mom as a 'thank you' for all they do.

"LIVE with Kelly and Michael" has partnered with the makers of Children's MOTRIN(R) for "LIVE's Search for Unstoppable Moms." "We're so proud to honor the overwhelming number of unstoppable moms who shared their stories through this search," said Michelle Goodridge, Vice President of Marketing for McNeil Consumer Healthcare. "The Children's MOTRIN(R) brand celebrates everything they do to keep their families happy and healthy."

Emmy Award-winning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York and executive produced by Michael Gelman, "LIVE" airs in more than 200 markets across the U.S. Visit "LIVE" on the web at LIVEKellyandMichael.com, on Facebook, or follow "LIVE" on Twitter, @KellyandMichael.
