DIVORCE: A LOVE STORY (ABC/Sony; W: Daniel Lappin & Mike Sikowitz; D: Pamela Fryman) - Amy Aquino has exited the comedy pilot, about Kenny (Jason Jones) and Robin (Andrea Anders), a recently divorced couple who were bad at marriage and discover they are even worse at divorce. She had been set to play Kenny's mom Irma however producers determined the actress looked too young to play Jones's mother. The search is underway for a replacement. Adam Goldberg and Regina King also star in the multi-camera project. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED BEN EPSTEIN PROJECT (MTV, New!) - Ben Epstein ("10 Things I Hate About You") has sold a potential drama to the cable channel set at a theme park. No other details however were given about the project. Epstein previously developed a college murder mystery at the network. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED TAD QUILL PROJECT (CBS/CTS; W: Tad Quill; D: James Burrows) - Phill Lewis and Jennifer Aspen have both landed roles on the comedy pilot, about Jack (Matthew Broderick), a widower father who raises his 12-year-old son Sebastian (yet to be cast) while jumping back into the dating pool. He'll play Stu Bart, his best friend and co-worker at Intrepid Advertising. Aspen then will guest star as Jennifer, the mother of Sebastian's girlfriend, Rachel (also yet to be cast). Kristin Chenoweth also stars. (Deadline.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Oliver Cooper is bound for the new season of "Californication" as "a budding writer who wants to emulate Hank (David Duchovny), so he insinuates himself into Hank's life to comic results" (Deadline.com); Michel Gill's President Garret Walker has been upped to series regular on Netflix's "House of Cards" (Deadline.com); and Stacey Dash will reunite with fellow "Clueless" alum Donald Faison on "The Exes" as a recommitted virgin who is currently dating Faison's Phil (TVGuide.com).
