BABYLON FIELDS (NBC/20th; W: Gerald Cuesta & Michael Atkinson; D: Michael Cuesta) - Virginia Madsen, Ritchie Coster and Yul Vazquez have all been cast in the drama pilot, in which the dead are resurrected and try to resume their former lives. Madsen will play Rhonda Wunch, "CDC scientist Thomas Wunch's (Kyle Schmid) mother who is close to her son and wants him to stay home in Babylon." Coster then is set as Ernie Wunch, "Thomas' father and Rhonda's husband, a former cop who most people thought ran away to Daytona"; with Vazquez as Chief of Police Matt Conte. Meagan Good and Skeet Ulrich also star. (Deadline.com)

CLIPSTERS (TBS; W: David Kohan & Max Mutchnick; D: TBA) - David Kohan and Max Mutchnick's comedy - about an eclectic cast of stylists working in a barbershop in the Boston suburb of Worcester, Mass. - has snagged a pilot order from the cable channel. GUILT BY ASSOCIATION (TNT; W: Dee Johnson & Marcia Clark; D: Nelson McCormick) - Julia Stiles ("Dexter") has signed on for the lead role on the drama pilot, about Rachel Knight, a gutsy Deputy District Attorney in the Special Trials Unit of the D.A.'s office for L.A. County. She works closely with a tough-as-nails female LAPD detective named Bailey Keller (Elisabeth Rohm) and a stylish female prosecutor named Toni LaCollette (Rose Rollins), both of whom routinely crash at Rachel's place. She'll succeed Neve Campbell, who previously dropped out of negotiations for said role. (Deadline.com)

Kessler, Daniel Zelman & Glenn Kessler; D: Johan Renck) - Norbert Leo Butz ("The Deep End") has snagged a role on the upcoming drama, about a family of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home. Ben Mendelsohn, Jacinda Barrett, Jamie McShane, Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini and Sissy Spacek also star. (Deadline.com)
