BLUNT TALK (Starz/MRC; W: Jonathan Ames; D: TBA) - Jacki Weaver and Adrian Scarborough have both been cast in the upcoming comedy, about Walter Blunt (Patrick Stewart), a British import intent on conquering the world of American cable news. She'll play Blunt's straight-talking, tough and motherly producer-manager Rosalie Winter, "who looks after Walter's career and helps shape the Blunt Talk newscast"; while Scarborough is set as Walter's manservant, Harry Chandler, "who rivals him in debauchery." FOLLOW YOUR HEART (ABC, New!) - Nastaran Dibai ("Friends with Better Lives") has sold a single-camera comedy to the Alphabet about "a widow and single mother who, after having given up on love, finds herself drawn to the new guy in her building. That's because, unbeknownst to her, he was the recipient of her husband's heart." Warner Bros. Television is behind the half-hour with Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan also serving as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED ANDREW REICH/TED COHEN PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen ("Work It") have set up a potential multi-camera project at the Eye described as "a big, multi-generational family comedy." Said effort comes from CBS Television Studios with The Jackal Group's Gail Berman likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED JOSH SIEGAL/DYLAN MORGAN PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan ("30 Rock") are back in business with the Peacock for a single-camera comedy about "a middle-aged ad executive who unexpectedly who loses his job and cobbles together a ragtag team to launch his own grassroots agency from his garage." Universal Television-based Sunday Night Productions is behind the project with the company's John Krasinski and Allyson Seeger executive producing alongside said duo. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED SHAWN WINES PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Shawn Wines has booked a new single-camera comedy at the Peacock about "a disgraced law student who, out of options, is forced to turn to the exotic and lucrative world of NYC garbage collection." Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Sunday Night Productions' John Krasinski and Allyson Seeger will also serve as executive producers for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
