CAMELOT (FOX, New!) - Feature writers Dan Frey and Ru Sommer have sold a potential drama to the network which "reimagines the legendary stories of King Arthur in a police procedural. When an ancient magic reawakens in modern-day Manhattan, a graffiti artist named Art must team with his best friend Lance and his ex, Gwen - an idealistic cop - in order to realize his destiny and fight back against the evil forces that threaten the city." The Jackal Group's Gail Berman and Joe Earley also serve as executive producers on the project, which has a penalty attached. No studio was indicated. (THR.com)
COLONY (USA) - Bethany Joy Lenz ("One Tree Hill") has been tapped for a role on the show's sophomore run as Morgan, "a highly-intelligent computer whiz with a conscience. She is determined to do what's right." She'll take over for Thora Birch, who had to exit the role due to scheduling conflicts. (Deadline.com)
DAYTIME DIVAS (VH1) - Niko Pepaj ("Awkward") will recur on the upcoming drama as Leon, "a PA on 'The Lunch Hour' who spends most of his time looking at his phone. Despite his lack of professionalism, he's actually quite ambitious. Although he is at times being manipulative, you still find yourself rooting for him. When an opportunity arises, he is quick to take full advantage." (Deadline.com)
FATWA (Showtime, New!) - Aasif Mandvi ("The Brink") is set to star in a potential comedy for the pay channel about L.K. Hussein (Mandvi), "a struggling cartoonist whose death threat becomes the greatest thing that ever happened to him." He'll also co-write the half-hour alongside Dave Holstein and executive produce. (Deadline.com)
G.L.O.W. (Netflix) - Marc Maron ("Maron") has signed onto the Jenji Kohan-produced series as Sam Sylvia, "a washed-up Hollywood director who has a very complicated history with women - and now must lead 14 of them on the journey to wrestling stardom." (Deadline.com)
GAME OF THRONES (HBO) - Oscar-winner Jim Broadbent has been tapped for a yet-to-be-revealed role on the show's seventh. (Deadline.com)
GOLIATH (Amazon) - Jason Ritter ("Parenthood") has been tapped for an arc on the Billy Bob Thornton-led drama as "wry, but savvy FBI Special Agent Joe Farley." (Deadline.com)
HER HONOR (CBS, New!) - Judy Sheindlin ("Judge Judy") is developing a new scripted drama at the Eye inspired by her own life: "the youngest judge in New York, who cuts through the chaos in Family Court, but can't seem to maintain control of her own life outside the courtroom." Michael Chernuchin ("Chicago Justice") is penning the hour from a story co-written with Sheindlin for CBS Television Studios. Queen Bee Productions' Sheindlin, Chernuchin, Arnold Kopelson and Anne Kopelson are the executive producers. (Variety.com)
HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (ABC) - Grammy-winner Mary J. Blige will drop by the new season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
ME, MYSELF AND I (CBS, New!) - Dan Kopelman ("Pitch") has sold a single-camera comedy to the Eye which "examines one man's life over a 50-year span, somewhat in the vein of Boyhood. The show will focus on three distinct periods in his life - as a 14-year-old in 1991, a 39-year-old in present day, and a 64-year-old in 2041." Warner Bros. Television is behind the half-hour, which has a pilot production commitment. Dana Honor and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
MICK, THE (FOX) - Scott MacArthur is set for a recurring role on the midseason comedy as Jimmy, "Mickey's (Kaitlin Olson) degenerate on-again, off-again boyfriend." He'll take over for Nat Faxon, who played said role in the pilot. (Deadline.com)
MOZART IN THE JUNGLE (Amazon) - Prema Cruz will recur on the upcoming third season as "a single mother, a potential romantic interest for Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal)." (Deadline.com)
PATRIOT (Amazon) - Chastity Dotson is bound for the newcomer as Carol, a" veterinarian, who's smart, charismatic, and attractive in a real way. She has a son with Edward, a politician and John's brother. Due to her on and off relationship with Edward, she predominantly raises her son as a single mom." (Deadline.com)
PITCH (FOX) - Chastity Dotson will likewise visit the baseball drama as Janet Baker, "first seen at 29, Ginny's (Kylie Bunbury) loving and protective mother." (Deadline.com)
QUIZUP (NBC) - The Peacock has nixed its proposed game show, where in-studio contestants try to earn a life-changing fortune by winning high-stakes trivia battles against viewers who qualify from anywhere in the country and play in real-time from home on their mobile devices. 10 episodes were previously commissioned in September of last year. (Iceland Monitor.is)
RADICALOCITY (FX, New!) - Stephen Falk and Eva Anderson ("You're the Worst") has set up a new comedy at the cable channel which "revolves around three cynical thirtysomethings with serious artistic backgrounds who try desperately to hold on to a shred of self-worth, while they do anything they can - immoral, unethical or illegal - to make their YouTubers as popular as possible." FX Productions is producing via Falk's overall deal with the studio. (Deadline.com)
TAP, THE (USA) - Colin Woodell, Erinn Westbrook, Ginny Gardner and David Corenswet have all been cast in the drama pilot, "set at the most famous secret society in American college history, Yale's Skull and Bones" circa 1969. Woodell will play Jay Butler, "who's looking to secure his future by joining Skull and Bones, Yale's most elite, and powerful secret society"; with Westbrook as Gloria Murphy, "one of Yale's first female students, and one of the few black students in her class"; Gardner as Michelle Cuttriss, "also part of this historic, inaugural female class"; and Corenswet as Kirk Lewis, "a blue-blooded Skull & Bones legacy." Additionally, Simon Cellan Jones is now set to direct the project, from executive producer Rob Reiner and writers Andrew Lenchewski and Aaron Tracy. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ASLAN & REICH PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Andrew Reich and Reza Aslan are set to team for a single-camera comedy about "an Iranian-American family from San Jose, CA, who each take a very different approach to questions of tradition and identity." Said effort is set up at ABC Studios with BoomGen Studios' Mahyad Tousi also serve as an executive producer. Reich recently inked an overall deal with the studio. (Deadline.com)
