9J 9K 9L (CBS) - Director Paul Feig will guest star as himself in the comedy pilot, about a guy (Mark Feuerstein), who lives in apartment 9K in the building he grew up in, sandwiched between his parents' apartment, 9J, and his brother, sister-in-law and their baby's apartment, 9L, and attempts to set boundaries with his intrusive but well-meaning family. Feuerstein's Josh tries to land a role in Feig's next movie. (Deadline.com)
BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Gordon Smith has closed an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television where he'll return for the show's expected fourth season. (Deadline.com)
LONG ROAD HOME (NGC) - Carter Redwood is the latest to be cast in the mini-series as Specialist Pedro Guzman, "a 21 year old from Brooklyn, New York who is the platoons medic." (Deadline.com)
MONSTERS OF GOD (TNT) - The cable channel has passed on the drama pilot, in which savagery and violence are the cornerstones of Colonel "Terrible" Bill Lancaster's holy war against the Comanche in post-Civil War Texas. The project, produced in house by sibling Studio T, however will be shopped to other outlets. (Deadline.com)
MR. ROBOT (USA) - Rizwan Manji has booked a recurring role on the show's third season as Norm, "Dominique DiPierro's (Grace Gummer) new partner who's working with her to investigate the Five/Nine hack." (Deadline.com)
PHILIP K. DICK'S ELECTRIC DREAMS (Amazon) - Jack Reynor and Benedict Wong have both been cast in the "Impossible Planet" installment of the anthology series, about "two disillusioned, disenchanted and indifferent space tourism employees who take up an elderly woman's (Geraldine Chaplin) request for a trip back to Earth, the existence of which is a long-debunked myth." Justin Butcher, Georgina Campell, Bekka Bowling, Christopher Staines and Malik Ibheis also appear in the episode. (Deadline.com)
SALVATION (CBS) - Erica Luttrell is bound for the summer drama as Claire Rayburn, "senior advisor to the President, who works closely with Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards on the secret project." (Deadline.com)
STAR (FOX) - Karin Gist has been tapped as showrunner for the series' second season as part of a two-year overall deal with producer 20th Century Fox Television. She'll succeed outgoing boss Chuck Pratt. (Deadline.com)
