Television with Berlanti Productions' Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter and Mad Ghost Productions' Geoff Johns also executive producing. (Deadline.com)

MANHUNT (Charter) - Charter Communications has reportedly on track to order two additional 10-episode seasons of Lionsgate Television's anthology series, which bowed last year on Discovery Channel with "Manhunt: Unabomber." Former Discovery executive John Goldwyn and writer Andrew Sodroski will return as executive producers with Eric Rudolph, known as the Olympic Park Bomber, set to be the focus of the sophomore run. (Deadline.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Sam Witwer has been tapped to play Agent Liberty on the series, "the ruthless and terrifying founder and figurehead of Children of Liberty, a hate group that supports a human-first world order." (EW.com)
TALES FROM THE LOOP (Amazon, New!) - Writer Nathaniel Halpern and director Mark Romanek are spearheading an eight-episode series at the company based on the acclaimed art of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag, exploring "the town and people who live above "The Loop," a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe - making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. In this fantastical, mysterious town, poignant human tales are told that bare universal emotional experiences while drawing on the intrigue of genre storytelling." 6th & Idaho's Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan and Rafi Crohn as well as Indio's Mattias Montero, Johan Lindström and Samantha Taylor Pickett also serve as executive producers for Amazon Studios and Fox 21 Television Studios. TIME IT TAKES, THE (ABC, New!) - Craig Ferguson is set to host a domestic take on the quirky British game show, which sees "members of the public race to answer as many questions as possible within a specific time limit." Hat Trick Productions is behind the pilot. No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
VAMPIRE CHRONICLES, THE (Hulu, New!) - The streaming service has landed the long-in-the-works small screen take on Anne Rice's much-ballyhooed 11 book series, which began in 1976 with "Interview with the Vampire." Paramount Television and Anonymous Content are behind the project, with Rice's son Christopher Rice penning the script. Bryan Fuller was previously attached to the package. The Rices then will executive produce alongside David Kanter and Steve Golin. (THR.com)
