50 STATES OF FEAR (Quibi, New!) - Sam Raimi is among the first creators to team with the new mobile subscription service. The project "aims to tell scary stories from each state in the U.S." Van Toffler will also produce. (Deadline.com)
9-1-1 (FOX) - The show's current second season is slated for 18 episodes. (Deadline.com)
FBI (CBS) - Rick Eid and Derek Haas have been tapped as the latest showrunners of the veteran drama. They'll succeed Greg Plageman, who in turn replaced co-creator Craig Turk. (Deadline.com)
FORREST'S TREASURE (FOX, New!) - Writer Elwood Reid and director McG are set to team for a new drama at the network about "when a family from Chicago moves to a small town in Montana to pick up the pieces of their fractured lives, they find meaning and purpose in the mystery of a hidden treasure." The project, which has a put pilot commitment, is inspired by David Kushner's upcoming book on the treasure of Forrest Fenn. Reid, McG and Kushner will executive produce for 20th Century Fox TV alongside Wonderland Sound and Vision's Mary Viola and The Gotham Group's Eric Robinson, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell. GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Josh Radnor is slated to drop by Thursday's episode and "will take Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) on a blind date." It's not clear if he'll recur beyond said installment. (Deadline.com)
I JUST DO (FOX, New!) - Comedian Chris Spencer is set to star in a multi-camera comedy at the Eye about "an African-American family therapist (Spencer) and his loving and expressive Latina wife living beyond their means in an upper-middleclass neighborhood, where they are raising twin teenagers with the "help" of their intrusive parents." Spencer will also co-write the Warner Bros. TV-based half-hour, which has a penalty attached, alongside John Beck and Ron Hart. SpringHill Entertainment's LeBron James and Maverick Carter are executive producing with Beck and Hart while Spencer and J.P. Williams serve as co-executive producers. (Deadline.com)
LAST AMERICAN VAMPIRE, THE (NBC, New!) - Terry Matalas is looking to bring Seth Grahame-Smith's novel to the small screen at the Peacock. The supernatural thriller "follows a 500-year-old bloodsucker and bon vivant named Henry Sturges, who's been held under lock and key for the last forty years, and who's believed to be the last of his kind. When a series of grizzly murders reveal a resurgence of vampires in the U.S., the FBI teams this affable monster up with Abby, a young FBI analyst, to solve a conspiracy centuries in the making." 20th Century Fox TV-based KatzSmith Productions is behind the hour, which has a penalty attached, with Matalas, Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg executive producing. Sturges was originally introduced in Grahame-Smith's novel "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" with Dominick Cooper playing said role in the feature adaptation. (Deadline.com)
LOVECRAFT COUNTRY (HBO) - Michael K. Williams is the latest to sign onto the upcoming drama as Montrose Freeman, "Atticus' father. Hard headed and secretive, he's always believed you can't live in a fantasy world, which is why he despises his son's pulp novels. Most of the books on his shelf are nonfiction, history, and political theory. The guys at the local bar call him a communist, but today we'd just call him conscious." (Deadline.com)
MR. MOM (Vudu, New!) - Walmart's streaming service is looking to bring the Michael Keaton-led feature - about "a father who becomes a stay-at-home parent while his wife (Teri Garr) goes back into the work force" - to the small screen. The new series "will be a continuation of the movie with baby Megan as a an adult going back into the work force (like her mom in the original) while her husband takes over parenting duties." No auspices were given for the project, which comes from MGM Television. (Deadline.com)
SECRET SIX (CBS, New!) - Rick Muirragui is looking the bring the DC Comics title - about "six morally ambiguous strangers, each with their own unique specialties and secret pasts, who are brought together by an enigmatic figure who blackmails them into working as a team to expose the corruption of the corporate and political elite" - to the small screen at the Eye. Warner Bros. TV-based Doozer Productions is behind the hour, which has a pilot production commitment. The company's Bill Lawrence and Jeff Ingold will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
SPLITTING UP TOGETHER (ABC) - Ali Larter has been tapped to recur on the new season as "no-nonsense Paige, who Martin finds attractive and Lena finds intimidating. Using her own "normal" divorce as a reference, Paige is unafraid to speak her mind, and she makes her feelings known about Lena and Martin's unconventional arrangement." (Deadline.com)
UNREAL (Hulu) - Co-creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro has signed a two-year overall deal with ABC Studios where she'll develop new series projects. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED ANTOINE FUQUA PROJECT (Quibi, New!) - Antoine Fuqua is developing a potential drama for the new mobile subscription service. The project is described as "a modern-day version of Dog Day Afternoon." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED GUILLERMO DEL TORO PROJECT (Quibi, New!) - Guillermo del Toro is among the first to team with the new mobile subscription service. His project is billed as "a modern zombie story." No other details were released. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MIDDLE SPIN-OFF PROJECT (ABC) - Finesse Mitchell is the latest addition to the Eden Sher-led spin-off as Hudson, "a bartender with a big heart who works at the same hotel as Sue." (TVLine.com)
