COSMOS (FOX) - The network and producers have launched an investigation into host Neil deGrasse Tyson over allegations of sexual misconduct by two more women. "The credo at the heart of 'Cosmos' is to follow the evidence wherever it leads," they said in a statement to the publication. "The producers of 'Cosmos' can do no less in this situation. We are committed to a thorough investigation of this matter and to act accordingly as soon as it is concluded." (Deadline.com)
DOLLY PARTON'S HEARTSTRINGS (Netflix) - Gerald McRaney, Brooke Elliott, Ben Lawson, Michele Weaver, Delta Burke and Tim Reid are all bound for the "If I Had Wings" installment of the anthology series. In said episode, "after receiving invitations to the 70th birthday party of their decades-long estranged father Tom Freeman (McRaney), three disparate siblings, Clay (Lawson), Nancy (Elliott) and Phyllis (Weaver) converge on a Mississippi farm where they test the bonds of blood and issues of faith, all to confront the sins of their father." Burke plays Ellie Holder, Tom's girlfriend, and Reid portrays Kendal Hooks, Tom's best friend. (Deadline.com)
MANDALORIAN, THE (Disney+) - Nick Nolte is set to join Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano in the upcoming live-action "Star Wars" series. No specifics were given about his character. (THR.com)
SERVANT (Apple) - Rupert Grint has been cast in the M. Night Shyamalan-helmed series, about parents Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and Sean Turner, who have hired young nanny Leanne (Nell Tiger Free) to help care for their newborn child. He'll play Julian Pearce, Dorothy's younger brother. (Deadline.com)
STAR WARS: CASSIAN ANDOR PROJECT (Disney+) - Stephen Schiff has been tapped to run the Diego Luna-led live-action series for the upcoming streaming service. Jared Bush (Moana) originated the project and wrote a pilot script and a bible. (Deadline.com)
