COSMOS/STARTALK (FOX/NGC) - Both series are slated to return to the schedule following an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against host Neil deGrasse Tyson. "The investigation is complete, and we are moving forward with both 'StarTalk' and 'Cosmos,'" National Geographic said in a statement. "'StarTalk' will return to the air with the remaining 13 episodes in April on National Geographic, and both Fox and National Geographic are committed to finding an air date for 'Cosmos.'" (Deadline.com)
EMERGENCE (NBC) - Zabryna Guevara is bound for the Allison Tolman-led drama pilot as Abby, "a pediatrician who is a longtime friend of Jo (Tolman)." (Deadline.com)
GENIUSES (FOX) - Conor Kalopsis, Ashley Boettcher and Jack Stanton have all been cast in the comedy pilot, about Mike (Jason Biggs) and Cay (Maggie Lawson), a blue-collar couple in South Jersey trying to get by and raise four kids, three of whom just happen to be certified geniuses. They'll play said kids, Brian, Nicole and Marc, respectively.
JANE THE NOVELA (The CW) - Hunter Parrish is set to star opposite Jacqueline Grace Lopez in the proposed spin-off pilot as Felix, "Napa's most eligible bachelor and heir apparent to his family's winery. Although his future looks bright, Felix is tortured by the secrets of his past." (Deadline.com)
LOVESTRUCK (A.K.A. LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER) (FOX) - 20th Century Fox Television has confirmed the drama's new moniker as "Lovestruck." The project is a structurally inventive dramedy, in which the entire first season takes place over the course of single night at a wedding. As we get to know the wedding party, we'll learn surprising reveals about both their present and past. We'll see that things aren't always what they seem and explore the complicated bonds of love, friendship and family at different stages of life.
NANA (ABC) - Ben Lawson and Gemma Allen have both landed roles on the comedy pilot, in which after the death of his wife, an obsessive, overprotective dad is forced to invite his brash and bawdy mother-in-law - Nana (Katey Sagal) - into his home to help raise the two granddaughters she barely knows. He'll play said fellow, Alex, replacing Josh Cooke, who had been originally cast in the role. Said change was made following the table read last week. Allen then is set as Emily, one of Alex's daughters. (Deadline.com)
neXt (FOX) - Michael Mosley and Gerardo Celasco are the latest additions to the drama pilot, in which a brilliant but paranoid former tech CEO joins a Homeland Cybersecurity Agent, Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade), and her team to stop the world's first artificial intelligence crisis: the emergence of a rogue AI with the ability to continuously improve itself. Mosley will play CM Newton, "a Southern ex-con hacker with a genius IQ who works at the FBI cybercrime division." Celasco then is Ty Salazar, Shea's husband. (Deadline.com)
PATTY'S AUTO (FOX) - Jonathan Sadowski has been tapped for a role on the multi-camera comedy pilot as Bill, "the crass, tough owner of the Muffler Men auto repair shop across the street from Patty's Auto. Despite his fierce competition with Patty, the two are more alike than different and are therefore drawn to each other." (Deadline.com)
PRISM (NBC) - Joe Tippett and Alex Neustaedter has both snagged roles on the "Rashomon"-esque drama pilot as Lucius King, "Rachel's second chair"; and Michael Jamison, who's "hard to tell if he's a bit unstable or just masterfully playing everyone," respectively. (Deadline.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Azie Tesfai, who recurs as James Olsen's sister Kelly, will be promoted to regular on the series next season. (Deadline.com)
TOMMY (CBS) - Joseph Lyle Taylor and David Fierro are both bound for the Edie Falco-led drama pilot. The former will play Buddy, "the brilliant, manipulative mayor of Los Angeles, who becomes a rival for power with the city's first female police chief." And the latter is set as Dudik, "Buddy's deputy, Treat "The Dude" Dudik, the somewhat dim, brutal, blindly loyal fixer who always returns to his master's side for another kick." (Deadline.com)
UNTIL THE WEDDING (ABC) - Christian Borle is the latest addition to the drama pilot as Miles, "Adrienne's (Olivia Thirlby) charming, highly accomplished brother and stay-at-home dad." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NANCY DREW PROJECT (The CW) - Freddie Prinze, Jr. has signed onto the drama pilot as Nancy's dad, Carson Drew, "a dynamic attorney who has become estranged from Nancy following the recent death of his beloved wife. But his attempts to reconnect with his daughter run aground when Nancy's murder investigation reveals unsettling secrets from Carson's own past." (Deadline.com)
WOMAN UP (ABC) - Tate Moore and Bryce Charles have both been cast in the comedy pilot, about Liz (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) and Phoebe (Tawny Newsome), two former teen moms have worked their asses off to see their daughters all the way through high school graduation. And now, at 35, they're ready to make up for the youth they never had. They'll play the younger versions of said characters. (Deadline.com)
