EDDY, THE (Netflix) - Andre Holland has been tapped for the lead role of Damien Chazelle's much-ballyhooed drama series as Elliot Udo, "who was a celebrated jazz pianist in New York, but now is in Paris, part-owner of a failing jazz club, hiding from everyone. He has an on-again off-again relationship with his lead singer, but is emotionally stunted. When his fifteen-year-old daughter shows up suddenly, he has to face his weakness and learn to grow up." He'll also receive a co-executive producer credit on the series. (Deadline.com)
GOLIATH (Amazon) - Julia Jones and Leslie Grossman have both scored roles on the upcoming season. Jones will play Stephanie Littlecrow, "a Hollywood stuntwoman and unlikely heiress to a coveted piece of property who becomes a thorn in the side of the Central Valley's biggest corporate farmers who want her land no matter what the cost." And Grossman will recur as Rochelle Purple, "a bold and brassy financial advisor who knows better than to leave herself vulnerable to the mercurial and potentially deadly temperaments of Wade and Diana Blackwood." (Deadline.com)
GOOD TROUBLE (Freeform) - Josh Pence's Dennis and Emma Hunton's Davia will both return as series regulars for the show's second season, due on June 18. (Deadline.com)

PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS (Showtime) - Kerry Bishé has been cast in John Logan's follow-up series as Sister Molly, "a charismatic radio evangelist. A beautiful singer and gifted orator, Molly captivates her many faithful followers even as she grapples with the complex demands of her life." (Deadline.com)
UNRELATED (Freeform) - Aeysha Carr has been tapped as the new showrunner of the upcoming Kenya Barris-produced comedy series. She'll take over for co-creators Casey Johnson and David Windsor, whom Barris was reportedly "unhappy with the show's early creative direction." (THR.com)
YOU (Netflix) - Melanie Field and Magda Apanowicz are the latest faces bound for the show's second season as Sunrise, a stay at home mommy blogger raising a toddler with her partner Lucy; and Sandy, a woman from Joe's past, respectively. (@seewhatsnext)
