GUTSY WOMEN (Apple TV+, New!) - Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton are set to host and executive produce an event documentary series for the streaming service inspired by their best-selling "The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience." Johnny Webb and Roma Khanna will also executive produce the project for HiddenLight Productions, in which "the former first lady, U.S Senator and Secretary of State, and her daughter set out to answer the question: what exactly does it take to be a Gutsy Woman?" HAWKEYE (Disney+) - Hailee Steinfeld, Florence Pugh, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon are officially bound for the Jeremy Renner-led Marvel series. As expected, Steinfeld will play Kate Bishop, who in the comics takes up the Hawkeye mantle from Renner's Clint Barton; while Pugh will reprise her role of Yelena Belova from the "Black Widow" film. Farmiga then is attached to play Eleanor Bishop, Kate's mother; with as Kazi; Dalton as Jack Duquesne; Cox as Maya Lopez; and McClarnon as William Lopez. Production is underway in Atlanta and New York. (Deadline.com)
OUTER RANGE (Amazon) - Imogen Poots is the latest bound for the Josh Brolin-led drama as Autumn, "an itinerant woman who charms the Abbotts enough to let her camp on their land. A seeker of cosmic truths with a checkered past, she lives without regrets and embraces the unknown with reckless abandon." (Deadline.com)
ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO (The CW) - Michael Grant Terry and Gillian Vigman will both recur on the upcoming season. The former will play Jordan, "the son of Roswell's Mayor Bernhardt, a privileged young man who blames his failure to measure up to his parents' high expectations on the influx of immigrants and people of color in his community"; with the latter as "Roswell's diligent new Sheriff Brooke Taylor, a tough yet charismatic officer elected on a mandate of law and order." (Deadline.com)
SEVERANCE (Apple TV+) - Dichen Lachman is the latest bound for the Adam Scott/Patricia Arquette-led thriller as play Ms. Casey, "an employee at Lumen Industries." (Deadline.com)
WOMEN OF THE MOVEMENT (ABC) - Cedric Joe has landed the role of Emmett Till in the limited series, which centers on Mamie Till Mobley (Adrienne Warren), who devoted her life to seeking justice for her son Emmett Till following his brutal murder in the Jim Crow South. Till is "a charming and spirited 14-year-old from Chicago who was murdered while vacationing with family in Mississippi, circa 1955. Unwilling to let his death disappear from the headlines, his mother Mamie chose to publicize the brutality of his murder, and as a result she ignited the Civil Rights Movement as we know it today."
