BMF (Starz) - Executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has indicated he plans "to expand the BMF universe with three spinoffs." No titles and details were given, other than the universe will be dubbed "BMF Immortal." Additionally, Heather Zuhlke has been named interim showrunner of the drama series as creator Randy Huggins "will be taking a step back following an unexpected health complication." BOSS (ABC, New!) - Claudia Lonow has sold a single-camera comedy to the Alphabet billed as "a multi-generational, adult, ensemble, office comedy about two women, frenemies and competitors with little in common, who wind up hiring each other's equally opposite daughters as their assistants." ABC Signature is behind the project, which is inspired by her life. (Deadline.com)
DEMASCUS (AMC) - The comedic sci-fi series is the latest to get cut as part of AMC's programming write-down at the network. The project may find a new home elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
GENERATION (HBO Max) - Co-creator Ben Barnz has indicated all 16 episodes of series, which was dropped from the streamer back in August, will debut on Tubi beginning February 1. (@notbrothersla)
YELLOWJACKETS (Showtime) - Nicole Maines, François Arnaud and Nia Sondaya are the latest faces bound for the new season. Maines will portray Lisa, "an associate of Adult Lottie (Simone Kissell), who is trying to recover from past trauma." Arnaud will appear as Paul, "a New York writer and secret boyfriend of Coach Scott (Steven Kreuger) who reminds Coach Scott of what might have been." And Sondaya is stepping "into the role of Teen Akilah in a recasting, with Keeya King exiting the series." (Variety.com)
