AND JUST LIKE THAT... (Max) - Kim Cattrall will reprise her iconic role as Samantha Jones from "Sex and the City" in the follow-up's second season finale. (Variety.com, 5/31)
CRUEL INTENTIONS (Amazon) - The long-in-the-works TV series has tapped the following in principal roles: Sarah Catherine Hook as Caroline; Zac Burgess as Lucien; Khobe Clarke as Scott; Brooke Lena Johnson as Beatrice; Sara Silva as CeCe; Sean Patrick Thomas as Professor Chadwick; John Harlan Kim as Blaise; and Myra Molloy as Annie. Additionally, Laura Benanti will recur as Claudia, Caroline's mother; with Jon Tenney as U.S. Congressman Russell. Production on its eight-episode order is scheduled to begin this month in Toronto for Amazon proper. (Variety.com, 6/1)
DAY OF THE JACKAL, THE (Peacock) - Lashana Lynch will star alongside Eddie Redmayne in the series as Bianca, "a tenacious law enforcement agent determined to catch The Jackal." (Variety.com, 6/2)
MS. PAT SHOW, THE (BET+) - The streamer has commissioned a fourth season of the series starring Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams. (Deadline.com, 5/30)
TOP CHEF (Bravo) - Host Padma Lakshmi is exiting the series after 20 seasons. "After much soul searching, I have made the difficult decision to leave Top Chef. Having completed a glorious 20th season as host and exec producer, I am extremely proud to have been a part of building such a successful show and of the impact it has had in the worlds of television and food," she wrote on social media. WINCHESTERS, THE (The CW) - Warner Bros. Television has confirmed no new home could be found for the "Supernatural" prequel series following its cancellation by The CW. (Deadline.com, 6/2)
