September 9, 2008 (Burbank, CA) - The series premiere of The CW's 90210 topped the charts this week as network television's #1 show among women 18-34 (4.5/12), for the week ending Sept 7, 2008. This marks the first time a The CW show has ever finished first for the week. In fact, The CW owned four of the top five spots among all network shows among women 18-34, including 90210 (#1), ONE TREE HILL (#3 - 3.4/9), GOSSIP GIRL (#4 - 3.3/10) and AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL (#5 - 3.0/9)

The CW finished the week as the Number One Network among Women 18-34 (2.3/7, edging out Fox by 0.04rtg) and female teens (2.0/7). Three strong nights of premiere episodes of GOSSIP GIRL, ONE TREE HILL, 90210 and TOP MODEL led The CW to finish as the number one network in the network's target audience in women 18-34 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The CW matched its best weekly performance EVER in women 18-34 (tie-11/27/06), and tied its second best delivery ever with adults 18-34 (1.7/5) and adults 18-49 (1.4/4).

Between the Tuesday and Thursday runs of 90210, 12.7 million viewers watched all or part of The CW's highly anticipated new series.

Monday, Sept. 1

With season debuts of GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL, The CW kicked off the fall with a major victory, as Monday's number one network in women 18-34 (3.3/9), females 12-34 (3.4/10), teens (2.0/6), and female teens (3.7/12). The CW was second in adults 18-34 (2.4/7).

The second season premiere of GOSSIP GIRL delivered the series' best ratings EVER in adults 18-34 (2.3/7), women 18-34 (3.2/10), adults 18-49 (1.7/5) and women 18-49 (2.4/6), and its second most watched episode ever (3.4mil), slightly behind its series debut on 9/19/07.

The combination of GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL drove The CW to its best Monday EVER in adults 18-34 (2.4/7), women 18-34 (3.4/9), women 18-49 (2.4/6).

Starting its sixth season, ONE TREE HILL continues to deliver, improving on last season's 2-hour premiere episode (Jan 8, 2008) by 10% in adults 18-34 (2.4/7), 10% in women 18-34 (3.3/9) and 10% in women 18-49 (2.3/5).

GOSSIP GIRL won the hour in women 18-34, persons 12-34 (2.3/7), females 12-34 (3.6/11), teens (2.3/8), female teens (4.3/14). GOSSIP GIRL beat ABC, CBS and NBC at 8pm in adults 18-34. The premiere of ONE TREE HILL also won the hour in women 18-34 (3.4/9), females 12-34 (3.3/9), teens (1.8/6) and female teens (3.2/10). ONE TREE HILL ranked second in adults 18-34 (2.4/7) and persons 12-34 (2.2/6).

Tuesday, Sept. 2

The record-setting two-hour debut of 90210 led The CW to rank as the #1 network on Tuesday night in all key demographics, including adults 18-34 (3.1/9), women 18-34 (4.5/12), adults 18-49 (2.6/7), women 18-49 (3.7/9), persons 12-34 (2.7/8), females 12-34 (3.9/11), teens (1.7/6), female teens (2.1/7).

The 90210 debut marks the highest rated series premiere in The CW's history with women 18-34 (4.5/12), adults 18-34 (3.1/9), adults 18-49 (2.6/7).

The two-hour 90210 matched The CW's highest rated night in adults 18-49 and earned the network its fourth highest rated night in adults 18-34. 90210 also gave The CW its fifth highest rated night in women 18-34 (4.5/12).

Wednesday, Sept. 3

The two-hour premiere of The CW's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL ranked first on Wednesday with the network's target young female audience, including women 18-34 (3.0/9-tie), females 12-34 (3.0/9) and female teens (2.9/10). The 11th cycle debut of TOP MODEL also ranked second in adults 18-34 (2.0/6).

Three nights of premieres drove The CW's affiliates to three consecutive nights (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) as the number one network in their markets among women 18-34, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Phoenix and Cleveland.
