CBS POSTS ACROSS-THE-BOARD INCREASES FROM SAME WEEK LAST YEAR

"NCIS" Tops Week Among Scripted Programs and is the First Series This Season to Deliver More Than 20 Million (Live Plus Same Day) Viewers

"The Big Bang Theory" is Thursday's Number One Program in Adults 18-49 for the Second Consecutive Week

CBS Continues to Have the Top Five New Series in Viewers and Top Three in Adults 18-49

Opposite four games of the World Series and primetime sporting events on the competition, CBS placed second in viewers and key demographics with year-to-year growth, led by NCIS, the first scripted series this season to top 20 million (live plus same day) viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 31, week six of the 2010-2011 season.

CBS was up +12% in viewers, +13% in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and +7% adults 18-34 compared to the same week last year.

CBS continued to have the top five new programs of the week in viewers (HAWAII FIVE-0, BLUE BLOODS, MIKE & MOLLY, $#*! MY DAD SAYS and THE DEFENDERS) and top three new series in adults 18-49 (MIKE & MOLLY, HAWAII FIVE-0 and $#*! MY DAD SAYS).

NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, THE MENTALIST, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, CRIMINAL MINDS and TWO AND A HALF MEN were the week's top scripted programs. NCIS became the first scripted series this season to top 20 million viewers (live plus same day) as it posted its largest audience since January 26, 2010.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was Thursday's #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.00m), FOX (11.99m), ABC (9.24m) and NBC (6.55m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.69m) ahead of ABC (9.70m), FOX (8.52m) and NBC (8.06m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.6/07, with ABC). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +10% in households, +12% in viewers, +13% in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in both adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).

For the week in households: CBS (6.8/11), FOX (7.1/12), ABC (5.9/10) and NBC (4.0/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (7.7/13) ahead of ABC (6.1/10) and both NBC and FOX (5.0/08, each).

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in adults 18-34 (2.9/09), second in households (5.0/08), viewers (8.29m), adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

? RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was second in households (4.9/07), viewers (8.17m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). Compared to last week, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +3% in both adults 25-54 (from 3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +310,000 viewers (from 7.86m, +4%).

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 18-49 (4.4/11), second in households (8.3/12), viewers (13.77m) and adults 25-54 (5.6/12).

? MIKE & MOLLY was second in households (6.6/10), viewers (10.81m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). Compared to last week, MIKE & MOLLY was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/10) and +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09).

? HAWAII FIVE-0 was tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.7/09, with ABC), second in households (6.6/11), viewers (10.23m) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08, -0.1 behind ABC).

-- Tuesday, CBS was first in households (10.0/16), viewers (16.25m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CBS has been first on Tuesday in households, viewers and adults 25-54 for the last six weeks.

? NCIS was first in households (12.1/19), viewers (20.18m), adults 25-54 (5.6/14) and second in adults 18-49 (4.1/11). NCIS was the first scripted series this season to top 20 million viewers as it posted its largest audience since January 26, 2010. Compared to last week, NCIS added +770,000 viewers (from 19.41m, +4%).

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (15.99m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09).

? THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.2/14), viewers (12.59m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07) for the fifth straight week. Compared to last week, THE GOOD WIFE added +420,000 viewers (from 12.17m, +3%).

? THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (13.04m), adults 25-54 (5.4/15), adults 18-49 (4.2/13) and adults 18-34 (from 2.8/09). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.3/15) and adults 18-49 (from 4.1/13), +4% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/09) and even in viewers. For the second straight week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was Thursday's #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? $#*! MY DAD SAYS was first in adults 25-54 (4.4/11), second in households (6.6/11), viewers (10.81m) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). Compared to last week, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/12) and even in adults 18-49.

? THE MENTALIST was second in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.76m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/11), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +340,000 viewers (from 14.42m, +2%).

? Friday, CBS was first in households (6.1/11), viewers (9.63m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and adults 18-49 (1.7/06). CBS was first on Friday for the sixth consecutive Friday in these measures.

? CSI: NY was first in households (6.5/12), viewers (10.44m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06). Compared to last week, CSI: NY was up +3% in households (from 6.3/11), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), even in adults 18-49 and added +190,000 viewers (from 10.25m, +2%).

? BLUE BLOODS was first in households (7.3/13), viewers (11.62m), adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06). Compared to last week, BLUE BLOODS was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/07), even in adults 18-49 and added +470,000 viewers (from 11.15m, +4%).
