Special Wednesday Rebroadcast of "Hannibal" Retains 90% of Its Lead-In in Adult 18-49 Rating
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, April 10.

Wednesday Primetime Results:

* From 8-9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 8 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.2), by 13 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.5) and by 9 percent in total viewers (5.5 million vs. 5.0 million), in a highly competitive time-period versus Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "Survivor" and ABC's "The Middle." "Dateline" was up versus NBC's season average in the time period prior to "Dateline" by 30 percent in total viewers (5.257 million vs. 4.059 million).

* At 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.0/3 in adults 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 11 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.9). Keep in mind that last season, "Law & Order: SVU" originals added an average of 47 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" ratings in 18-49 when Nielsen reported "live plus seven day" results.

* At 10 p.m. ET, a special Wednesday rebroadcast of last week's "Hannibal" premiere (0.9/3 in adults 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) retained 90 percent of its lead-in in adult 18-49 rating and retained 97 percent of that lead-in in viewers 18-49 (1.191 million viewers 18-49 vs. 1.233 million viewers). In adult 25-54 rating, "Hannibal" retained its full lead-in of a 1.2, and in men 25-54 rating, "Hannibal" built on its lead-in (to a 1.1 from a 1.0).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.8/8; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.7/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
