"Revolution" Hits a Five-Week High with a Week-to-Week Gain of 2% in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, November 20.

Wednesday Primetime Results:

TIME-SHIFTING: Note that last week in L+3, "Revolution" added 47% to its 18-49 rating and "SVU" added 43%.

· "Revolution" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) reported a 1.4 in 18-49 in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings for a sixth week in a row and is running within a tenth of a point of last week's 1.5 in official nationals

· In total viewers, "Revolution" hit a five-week high (5.247 million at 8 p.m., best since Oct. 16 with 5.417 million), pending updates, with a week-to-week gain of 2% (5.247 million vs. last week's 5.166 million in official nationals). Last night's "Revolution" improved by 16% on NBC's time-period average in the slot last season in total viewers (5.247 million vs. 4.509 million).

· L+3: Last week's "Revolution" added 47% or 0.70 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.19 in L+3 from a 1.49 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 37% or 1.896 million persons (7.062 million vs. 5.166 million. L+7: The Oct. 30 "Revolution" grew by 71% or 0.97 of a point in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+7 (to 2.33 from 1.36).

· From 9-10:01 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.6/4 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) matched its highest 18-49 rating since Oct. 16. "SVU" increased its rating half-hour to half-hour in nearly all key measures, with gains of 7% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.5) and 5% in total viewers (6.1 million vs. 5.8 million).

· L+3: Last week's "Law & Order: SVU" added 43% or 0.68 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.27 in L+3 from a 1.59 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 31% or 1.925 million persons (8.088 million vs. 6.163 million).

· From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, a Wednesday "Dateline NBC" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) matched its prior two 18-49 ratings this season in this time period and had its highest Wednesday rating so far this season in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (1.6). "Dateline" has generated this 25-54 track in its three Wednesday telecasts to date: 1.4, 1.5, 1.6. It's NBC's highest 25-54 rating in the time period since Oct. 9.

· Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "Dateline" grew half-hour to half-hour by 10% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 1.0), 13% in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.5) and 30% in men 25-54 (1.3 vs. 1.0).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.2/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.7/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
