BRIDGERTON (Netflix) - Filming on the show's second season was "paused for 24 hours yesterday after a crew member tested positive for coronavirus." (Deadline.com)
DOLLFACE (Hulu) - Jayson Blair is the latest to recur on the new season as Liam, "a new love interest for Izzy (Esther Povitsky), who, for the "Dollface" uninitiated, is a friend and co-worker of [Kat] Dennings' main character Jules." (Variety.com)
GAME OF THRONES ANIMATED SERIES (HBO Max) - The streamer has expanded its potential animated spin-offs to three series. One "is set in a territory that was never seen on the original series: The Golden Empire of Yi Ti (or simply Yi Ti), a region in the continent of Essos, near the south-eastern limits of the known world. The society is considered one of the oldest and most advanced societies in creator George R.R. Martin's sprawling fantasy realm and is inspired by Imperial China (much the same way Westeros, which was the primary setting for GoT, was inspired by Medieval Europe)." No other details were given. (THR.com)
GAME OF THRONES FLEA BOTTOM PROJECT (HBO) - Said concept, based on life in the infamous King's Landing slum, is reportedly no longer in the mix at the cable channel as "it was always the most nascent of the ideas that were made public and was never officially confirmed by HBO." (THR.com)
GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES (Paramount+) - The streamer has formally ordered the prequel to the classic 1978 film to series. Annabel Oakes is behind the project, which was originally set up at HBO Max. (Deadline.com)
LOKI (Disney+) - Director/executive producer Kate Herron has indicated she will not return for the show's second season. (Deadline.com)
PISTOL (FX) - Former Sex Pistols lead singer Johnny Rotten has filed a lawsuit to prevent the use of the band's songs in the upcoming Danny Boyle-helmed limited series. (Variety.com)
STATIONERY SHOP, THE (HBO, New!) - Marjan Kamali's novel - which "tells story of teenagers Roya and Bahman, star-crossed lovers in 1953 Tehran, who are separated on the eve of their marriage by the dramatic events of a coup d'etat that changes the course of history" - is being developed as a TV series at the pay channel. Mozhan MarnĂ² will pen the adaptation as well as executive produce alongside A Penny For Your Thoughts Entertainment's Prentice Penny. The company's Alex Soler is co-executive producing and Kamali is on board as a consulting producer. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED BLUMHOUSE FILM SERIES (Epix) - Alexxis Lemire will star opposite Katey Sagal in the series' "Tattered Hearts" installment. Lemire will star as Leigh, the lead vocalist in a promising country music duo. (Deadline.com)
WALKING DEAD, THE (AMC) - AMC Networks has disclosed a $200 million settlement deal, including $57 million worth of profit participation revenue, with Frank Darabont and CAA in their long-running profit participation lawsuit over "The Walking Dead." (Variety.com)
