DYNASTY (The CW) - Daphne Zuniga will visit her former "Melrose Place" co-star Grant Show in the show's April 29 episode as Sonya Jackson: "A successful, sultry contemporary to Blake Carrington, Sonya shakes things up after reuniting with her old friend and reminiscing about their college days. Sonya isn't afraid to mix business with pleasure, posing unexpected challenges for Blake and his wife, Cristal." (Variety.com)
HISTORY OF A PLEASURE SEEKER (Hulu) - Carla Woodcock and Callum Kerr have scored the lead roles on the drama pilot, which follows Piet Barol (Kerr), "who has an instinctive appreciation for pleasure and a gift for finding it. When his mother dies, Piet applies for a job as tutor to the troubled son of Europe's leading hotelier - a child who refuses to leave his family's mansion on one of Amsterdam's grandest canals. As Piet enters this glittering world, he learns its secrets and finds his life transformed." Woodcock then will play Constance, "the most magnetic girl in Amsterdam; undisputed queen of the city's gilded youth, while Piet, tutor to a very troubled child, is an extreme empath, with the confidence to back himself against the odds. His smile and sex appeal open doors, but his real superpower is his intuition." (Deadline.com)
IMMIGRANT (Hulu) - Spencer Boldman is the latest to recur on the limited series as Lance McCrae: "Dubbed "the ultimate specimen", Lance McCrae is the hottest Chippendales dancer of them all - not to mention the inspiration and star of choreographer Nick De Noia's (Murray Bartlett) greatest, most ambitious routine yet." (Deadline.com)
MR. AND MRS. SMITH (Amazon) - Maya Erskine will star opposite Donald Glover in the upcoming series based on the 2005 New Regency film. She succeeds Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who bowed out of the project back in September. (InterviewMagazine.com)
SAINT X (Hulu) - Jayden Elijah will round out the cast of the upcoming drama as Edwin, "a handsome and magnetically charming employee at the island's resort who immediately captures Alison's (Duchovny) attention. He harbors a healthy distrust of the rich white people he's paid to serve and dreams of one day leaving the island for New York." (Deadline.com)
SATURDAYS (Disney Channel) - Tim Johnson, Jr. and Peyton Z. Basnight have both been cast in the comedy series. Johnson plays Derek "D-Rok" Troy, "London's best friend. A high energy but cool rapper with much swag! Definitely born with the gift of gab, which more times than not lands he and London in hot water." And Basnight portrays Ari Stevens, "a lovable, fast talking, butterfly wing and skate wearing young lady, who when she isn't killing it on the rink floor, is spilling all of the local gossip happening in and around Saturdays." (Deadline.com)
SHAHS OF SUNSET (Bravo) - The cable channel has axed the reality series after nine seasons. (TMZ.com)
UNTITLED CROWN SPIN-OFF PROJECTS (Netflix, New!) - Creator Peter Morgan is reportedly working on "up to five historical spin-off series" for the streaming service. They "will begin with the death of Victoria in 1901, and cover the abdication crisis after Edward VIII fell in love with Wallis Simpson, and the rise of socialism and fascism in Europe." No other auspices were given. (DailyMail.com)
UNTITLED LAUREN LUDWIG PROJECT (FX, New!) - Lauren Ludwig has scored a half-hour pilot order from the cable channel for a "a metaphysical comedy about a group of queer twenty-somethings forced by the most unlikely source to confront their generational anxieties and unpack their emotional baggage." Chris Weitz, Paul Weitz, Andrew Miano, Dan Balgoyen and Aaron Kogan will also executive produce for Depth of Field and FX Productions. (Deadline.com)
WILLOW (Disney+) - Talisa Garcia has booked a role on the upcoming TV series incarnation as "a Queen and the mother to Tony Revolori's character who takes part in the quest." Said casting marks "the first known occasion an openly trans actor has been cast in a production from Disney-owned Lucasfilm." (Deadline.com)
