NIGHT'S EDGE (Freeform, New!) - Liz Kerin's vampire novel is set to be the focus of a proposed TV series at the cable channel: "Having a mom like Izzy meant Mia had to grow up fast. No extracurriculars, no inviting friends over, and definitely no dating. The most important rule: Tell no one of Izzy's hunger - the kind only blood can satisfy. But Mia is in her twenties now and longs for a life of her own. One where she doesn't have to worry about anyone discovering their terrible secret, or breathing down her neck. When Mia meets rebellious musician Jade she dares to hope she's found a way to leave her home - and her mom - behind. It just might be Mia's only chance of getting out alive." Kerin and Keto Shimizu will co-write the project as well as executive produce alongside Jac Schaeffer and director Leslye Headland for 20th Television. (Deadline.com)
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN (HBO Max) - Annabeth Gish will reprise her "Pretty Little Liars" role of Dr. Sullivan in the upcoming second season of the reboot series. (@prettylittleliars)
REDEMPTION INK (Hulu, New!) - The streamer is developing an unscripted series which "follows ex-gang and hate group members at a crossroads in their lives. As a first step toward redemption, these troubled individuals are covering up their gangland tattoos, which stand as constant reminders of their dark and complex histories. While sitting in the chair, they will share their emotional stories with the talented tattoo artists devoted to giving them hope." Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and SallyAnn Salsano are the executive producers for G-Unit Film & Television and 495 Productions. Matt Bazan created the series, inspired by Luis Gutierrez's concept for his tattoo shop of the same name, with Luis Gutierrez serving as a producer. (Deadline.com)
