More Performers Added to "2005 American Music Awards"

MORE PERFORMERS ADDED TO �2005 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS�

Sheryl Crow, Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan Added to Lineup

The ladies will be out in full force at the �2005 American Music Awards,� airing TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Added to the list of performers for the 33rd annual special are: Three-time American Music Award winner Sheryl Crow, whose new album, �Wildflower,� is currently in the Top 10; film, TV and pop music star Hilary Duff, whose current album, �Most Wanted,� recently topped the charts and has already achieved platinum status; and singer/actress Lindsay Lohan, who will perform the first single, �Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father),� from her forthcoming album, �A Little More Personal (Raw),� the follow up to her platinum debut album, �Speak.�

They join previously announced performers Mariah Carey, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, The Rolling Stones, Rob Thomas and Keith Urban on the show, which is a presentation of dick clark productions, inc. Hosting the 33rd annual special is Cedric �The Entertainer.�

Also scheduled to appear on the show as presenters are cycling champion Lance Armstrong, Toni Braxton, Ryan Cabrera, Chingy, Australian songstress Delta Goodrem, Nick Lachey, John Mayer, Jesse McCartney, Sean Paul, Nicole Richie, LeAnn Rimes, �Phantom of the Opera�s� Emmy Rossum, �American Idol�s� Ryan Seacrest, �Jake in Progress�� John Stamos, Sugarland, �Night Stalker�s� Stuart Townsend & Gabrielle Union, and Gretchen Wilson. Additional talent will be announced at a later date.

The �American Music Awards� honor the past year�s elite in contemporary music as voted by record-buyers. Awards will be presented to top artists in Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip-Hop, Latin Music, Contemporary Inspirational, Adult Contemporary and Alternative Music.

The live special, which emanates from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, is a presentation of dick clark productions, inc., with Allen Shapiro serving as executive producer. Larry Klein produces the telecast and Jeff Margolis directs. Executive in charge is Fran La Maina.
