BUCKLE UP FOR A FOX SUNDAY NIGHT THRILL RIDE: ENCORE PRESENTATION OF "FRINGE" SERIES PREMIERE, EXCLUSIVE FIRST-LOOK PREVIEWS OF "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" AND NOVEMBER'S "24: REDEMPTION" PLUS HEART-RACING FIRST FOUR MINUTES OF SECOND EPISODE OF "FRINGE" SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, ON FOX

On Sunday, Sept. 14 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) FOX presents a Sunday night like no other. The evening kicks off with an exclusive first look at an extended scene from the highly anticipated film "The Day The Earth Stood Still," followed by a preview of 24: REDEMPTION, the two-hour special event airing this November on FOX. Immediately after the exclusive previews, the series premiere of FRINGE will encore, followed by an exclusive preview of the not-to-be-missed, heart-pounding first four minutes of the series' second episode.

From J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci the team behind "Star Trek," "Mission: Impossible III" and "Alias" and fellow executive producers Jeff Pinkner and Bryan Burk, FRINGE premieres tonight (8:00-9:35 PM ET/PT) on FOX and is a new procedural thriller that explores the blurring line between the possible and the unimaginable. In the series premiere, an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport carrying crew and passengers decimated by a mysterious virus. The event brings together an unlikely trio FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), brilliant but formerly institutionalized scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his scheming, reluctant son Peter (Joshua Jackson) who uncover a deadly mystery involving a series of unbelievable events that may be a part of a larger, more disturbing pattern.

FRINGE's nail-biting second episode airs in its regularly scheduled time period Tuesday, Sept. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The episode featuring Olivia, Walter and Peter investigating the deaths of a woman who experiences a pregnancy accelerated beyond belief and her "senior-citizen" newborn, opens with four minutes that will shock and mystify.

Filmed on location in South Africa and Los Angeles, 24: REDEMPTION airing Sunday, Nov. 23 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, stars Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland along with new series cast members Cherry Jones, Robert Carlyle, Gil Bellows and Academy Award winner Jon Voight. The two-hour event finds Jack Bauer battling an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, 24: REDEMPTION will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven, which will debut in January 2009.

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" is 20th Century Fox's contemporary reinvention of its 1951 classic set to hit theaters December 12. Keanu Reeves portrays Klaatu, an alien whose arrival on our planet triggers a global upheaval. As governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind the visitor's appearance, a woman (Jennifer Connelly) and her young stepson get caught up in his mission and come to understand the ramifications of Klaatu calling himself a "friend to the Earth." The film is directed by Scott Derrickson, and also stars Jaden Smith, John Cleese, Jon Hamm, Kyle Chandler and Kathy Bates.
