Several Discovery Channel Fan Favorite Series to Return for Second Season

(Silver Spring, Md.) � Several new recently launched Discovery Channel series have become steady fan favorites and have been given the green light for a second season. AMERICAN LOGGERS, DESTROYED IN SECONDS, HOW STUFF WORKS, TIME WARP and TREASURE QUEST all contributed to delivery gains in prime for Persons and Men 25-54 on six out of seven nights of the week.

AMERICAN LOGGERS � A desolate hundred mile stretch of treacherous road cuts through the heart of Maine's backcountry. For three generations the Pelletier family has braved its wilds, continuing to live a proud tradition of which today they are among the last: seven brothers, one road, no rules. Thickly blanketed by snow and ice, with no imposed speed limit, and over two-thirds unpaved, the road has long been the preferred route for those truckers and woodsmen whose brutal livelihood supplies the paper mills. AMERICAN LOGGERS is produced by Half Yard Productions.
