Cbs, FOX Alter Repeat Strategies
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS and FOX have revised some of their repeat plans for the summer.

"The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Accidentally on Purpose" and "Ghost Whisperer," all of which got the axe last week, will no longer be continuing into the summer in repeat form.

Encores of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Rules of Engagement" will now fill the Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c hour beginning June 2 until "Big Brother" takes over on July 14. On Fridays, "Medium" will assume its fall time period of 8:00/7:00c starting June 4, replacing the previously announced repeats of "Ghost Whisperer."

Meanwhile over on FOX, "American Dad" encores will shift to Sundays at 7:00/6:00c following "'Til Death's" burn-off on June 27 while additional "The Simpsons" repeats will do the same at 7:30/6:30c once "Sons of Tucson" completes its run on August 8. Closing out the evening will be back-to-back repeats of "Family Guy" at 9:00/8:00c starting July 4.
